1001 Albums Summary

Not what I expected from the Beatles. The music is all over the place. And maybe that’s what great music is about. Perfect bars, notes combined with a lack of a set structure. All the songs seem go be imbued with instruments and vocals that saturate the listener and their attention to the brim. Not just expecting attention but almost demanding it. Never did I ever think that a Beatles’ album could be so musicallly, lyrically and structurally be so many things and yet be just confined to one song. Too good!! So happy that this was the first I ever heard.

Couldn’t connect with it. Maybe need to explore more of their works.

Great introduction to Van Halen. Excited to explore what else they have to offer. Classic rock FTW!!

Green Day raw and at their punkiest ever and yet each track carries a level of uniqueness. Structurally similar to other Green Day albums that follow, but I think this is where the structure came into being and is at its most rawest..

First time listening to Bruce. Good, fun experience. Interesting style of music delivery. Mouth Organ usage is cool. Definitely will give his collection a go..

Cool introduction to their catalogue.. Will be listening to more of them.. Great mood music as well as some cool lyrics.. Old school cool..

Catchy tunes with great layering of various instruments and beats that i’d rock to at a club..

Okay-ish. I can maybe see the appeal back when it was released.. not as funky or groovy in 2025..

My third Springsteen album and I still do not understand the allure and the magnetism. But I guess people like what they like and so I guess two stars make sense but I still wanna say that I am gonna give his music another chance and see where we land.
