5.7/10 - instrumentals were good. Some songs had nice rolling beats. The piano was nice on others. The squawky style of singing just wasn’t for me unfortunately. Land (7.5) and Redondo Beach (7.2) were the best, while Birdland (4) was my least favorite…
Good album! 7.32 avg rating. Fairytale of NY (8.5) and South Australia (7.7) were my favorites. Nice upbeat crossover punk/folk style that I liked a lot
7.6/10 - not exactly my style, but the production quality is amazing. 7.5 for every song, with Us and Them getting an 8. Great album
8.3 - very good album, no bad songs. Splanky (9), Duet (8.5), and Double-O (8.5) were my favorites. Teddy the Toad (7.8) was the lowest ranked.
7.9 - Good mellow rock album. No bad songs. Not exactly my style but really good. Cupids Trick (8.6), Alameda (8.5), and Angeles (8.5) were my favorites. Punch and Judy & 2:45 Am (7) were the lowest rated.
7.75 - pretty good. Though it wouldn’t be my vibe and I ended up liking it more than I thought. Best songs were Paradise City (8.2) and Sweet Child O’ Mine (8.2). Worst were You’re Crazy (7.2) and It’s So Easy (7.3).
6.95 - Not exactly my style, but instrumentally really cool. The guitar was sick. The singing style I didn’t love. Best song was Jesus Saves (8). Worst were Piece by Piece (6.5) and Necrophobic (6.6)
8.0 - Very solid album. Nice progression to have good songs in the middle and end of the album. Lots of good beats, with a handful of really lyrical songs. Best songs were Clint Eastwood (8.8) the Ed Case / Sweetie Refix version (8.7) and Man Research (8.5). My least favorite were Re-Hash (7.5) and M1 A1 (7.6)
7.86 - Interesting album. I’m sure the Beatles were influenced by The Kinks. Lots of interesting/unique songs. Best songs were All of my Friends Were There (8.4) and Do You Remember Walter (8.3). Least favorite were Big Sky, Sitting by the Riverside, and Wicked Annabella (7.6)
7.8 - avg seems kinda high. It was fine but not anything crazy. Vibes but kinda weird a lot of the time. Favorite songs were Chemical World and Oily Water (8.2). Least favorite were Coping and Turn it Up (7.6).
7.96 - seems like it should be a hit lower avg. very on-the-nose lyrics. Some nice beats. Not exactly my style. Best were Crime Ridding and Numbers (8.3). Worst was Konnichiwa (7.6)
6.5 - Not my cup of tea. Just a lot of grating and loud noises. Cool/experimental but not exactly fun to listen to. Best: Assassins (6.5). Worst: Crown of Storms (6).
8.15 - pretty solid. Nice and mellow but still rocky. Best were Disarm, Mayonaise, & Spaceboy (7.1). Worst were Cherub Rock and Quiet (7.1).
7.6 - Fine album. Nice classic older rock. Favorites were Blitzkrieg Bop (8.4), Judy is a Punk (7.8), Listen to my Heart (7.8). Least favorite was Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue (7.3)
7.88 - He has an amazing voice, and his music is elevated because of that. I like the wide variety of music types. Best: Lover You Should’ve Come Over & Dream Brother (8.6). Worst: Grace (7.1), Last Goodbye & So Real (7.3).
6.93 - just not really for me… loud and meh. Fine musically though. Best: Kill the Poor (7.4), Forward to Death (7.2). Worst: Chemical Warfare (6.2)
8.3 - kinda fire. Very high quality. Didn’t want to skip any songs. Best: The Mule & Strange Kind of Woman (8.6). Worst: Space Truckin’ (8.0)
8.7 - I was very impressed. I wasn’t expecting such a solid album. Very good musically and very good voice. Best: I Talk to the Wind (9.6), Epitaph (9.3). Worst: 21st Century Schizoid Man (8.2), The Court of the Crimson King (8.2)
8.23 - Musically good, not exactly my favorite. Solid voice, some good beats/vibes. Best: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, This Song Has no Title (8.7). Worst: Your Sister Can’t Twist (7.9)
7.94 - fine album. Nothing spectacular, but I liked his voice. Best: Young Americans (8.4). Worst: Somebody Up There Likes Me, Across the Universe (7.8)
