Black Sabbath
Black SabbathWas solid. Groundbreaking. Evil woman was kind of lame to me though.

I liked the more avant garde parts, but not so much the poppy parts.
I can see where it might've been the early 70s version of alt /indie rock . I respect their exploration and experimentation with different musical genres, but the music sounded very dated, and a bit hokey at times.
A timeless classic. Reminds me of sitting in coffee shops in my 20s smoking cigarettes talking with people about life and how it might turn out before really understanding what the grind was all about. This music feels like the punk rock of jazz; discordant and frenetic at times, but definitely reflective of the highs and lows of the human condition.
70s prog rock at its finest... if you're into that sort of thing. I am, every once in a while.
Metallica's last good album.
Surprised how much I liked it! Several years ahead of its time. Definitely an influence on electronic music and soundtracks.
I love Nina Simone and several of her songs, but some of the sings on this particular album seemed a little theatrical or show tuney and that's not for me.
Not bad at all. Not currently my thing, but this reminded of the hard indie/alt rock scene if the early 00's from whenst it came. Idek if they make actual new rock music anymore.
Spoken word poetry over some type of jazz fusion. Not my thing.
Giving this 3 because of the instrumentation and Astrid Gilberto's voice are smooth, but Joao should have just stuck to the guitar and no vox.
2 songs. Fantastic. 70s movie soundtrack vibes with a tinge of avant garde. Loved it.
Love it. Adding it to my library. Fans of Letterkenny know the term "skid music". Well this is kind of like skid music jazz or fine dining skid music.
