Not a bad album but not really my cup of tea. Good female vocals and album composition. Outside Myself was the standout track.

Great British Punk album. God Save the Queen and Anarchy in the UK are classic tracks. Holidays in the Sun and Pretty Vacant are both great tracks I hadn’t heard before.

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
Nov 05 2025

Really good album. Varied tracks, need to give it another listen sometime.

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Nov 06 2025

Fun album, couple of well known tracks. Thumpasarus is a great finishing track. Quick to listen to at 38 minutes.

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Nov 07 2025

I found this album strange. It’s dark and serious compared to the Beach Boys songs I’m used to hearing. Student Demonstration Time was the most interesting track on the album. Overall, didn’t love it, didn’t hate it, and it was interesting to hear a new (to me) beach boys sound.

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Nov 13 2025

I was excited because I didn’t know any tracks off this album except “Clint Eastwood” and “19-2000” but I’m a fan of “Demon Days” and “Plastic Beach”. Turns out I wasn’t missing much. You can see hints of what’s to come in future albums as Damon’s sound for the band developed but this album wasn’t as good as I’d hoped it’d be.

Great album

Tom Tom Club by Tom Tom Club
Nov 19 2025

Weird album. Not terrible, not great, just weird. Some recognizable hooks and riffs

Sulk by The Associates
Nov 20 2025

Didn’t like this album. Just generic New Wave. Nothing interesting.

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Nov 24 2025

Great album. Earliest Beatles album I liked in it’s entirety.

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Nov 25 2025

Some fun and interesting tracks but overall not an album I’d listen through again. Long Black Limousine, True Love Travels on a Gravel Road and Kentucky Rain are all good tracks.

Nick Of Time by Bonnie Raitt
Dec 05 2025

Not a bad album, but not for me. Definitely someone’s music though.

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Dec 11 2025

Was expecting “Angel” and “Teardrop”. This was very different in a good way.

Would have been 4 stars but the double album was too long to enjoy. With half the tracks it’s a better album overall
