Solid Air by John Martyn
Dec 02 2025

What a vibe. Fresh air of chill-mumble accompanied by subtle but masterful vibe-heaters. Rounded sound. Beautiful guitar playing. BPM-less. No idea what the words are, most of the time. There's some jazz in the DNA of this music. I love it.

My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello
Dec 03 2025

Well it's either annoyingly immature within its own style, or I just don't get it, at all. At the time, I'd see potential in his voice, just not the songs. It feels so silly. Perhaps at a time it was revolutionary or refreshing, I don't know. His energy doesn't match what's going with the band, to me. It's like he's singing with a tape. Not sure what the direction of the music is, too.

Dec 04 2025

Cool to check out, three songs are nice, later songs are weaker, poor choice of the violinist. As an album it gets 2/10, but for the interesting music I didn't know it gets the 6/10.

The Colour Of Spring by Talk Talk
Dec 18 2025

Cool arrangements, instrumentals, vibe. But not the voice.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Dec 19 2025

Stunning space, the spot-on timing for a relaxed, meaningful vibe, great musicianship. Wow, what a beautiful, interesting album.

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Dec 20 2025

Legendary. But to me, loud guitars with a few harmonies.

Debut by Björk
Jan 06 2026

Crazy unique and special right from the beginning.

Casanova by The Divine Comedy
Jan 08 2026

Monotonous, unimpressive. Cool but meh.

Elephant by The White Stripes
Jan 10 2026

Okay it's legendary first track but my God is it boring regardless. Slow 4/4 s going nowhere.

Jan 11 2026

Quality country, beautifuls singing, just a pity I don't dig it.
