1001 Albums Summary

Even though there are many led zeppelin classics and counting my number one : when the levee breaks, this album is sort of messy. I wish Robert would control his voice as in the ballad of the evermore. Of course it’s a major classic rock album, a basic, a must to listen ! Solid 4 out 5

First time listening to this album ! I think I need to do their discography. Nick Launay, the producer, did an amazing job. Homogeneous, punchy. I need to listen to it again and review properly.

Excellent ! Je n’avais pas écouter d’album hip hop comme celui-ci depuis longtemps. Assez chill, les morceaux se suivent bien. Gros coup de coeur pour show business. Je dois réecouter le premier album pour comparer. Un classic du hip hop jazz !

I’ve discovered this singer with Pet Shop Boys, and I really have enjoyed this album!

A concept album with a nice storytelling, great instrumentals, moving like a painting. I am not fond of this kind of albums nor Sufjan Stevens, so i can’t tell if it’s great or not. It’s nice produced but too long imo. Fav track they are night zombies !!…

I was like why it sounds like Stooges, Pistols, and Velvet all at once and Ive read it was a major influence to those bands. I wonder why I wasn’t introduced to them before. Nice album, need more listens but overall it’s really good.

Je me rappelle avoir ecoute cet album en entier quand on a annoncé à la radio le décès de Tina Turner. Son biopic m’avait egalement beaucoup touchée. Cet album est grandiose, mon top fav avec Acid Queen!

J’ai trouvé l’album monotone et la voix du chanteur qui voulait trop sonner comme Lou Reed / Leonard Cohen :/ pas de personnalité
