1001 Albums Summary

one of my fav albums ever, every guitar riff on here is incredible and the drums are amazing (johnny marr e mike joyce miei eterni padri), every song has great lyricism, switching between parodic/humorous and more serious themes. i love the smiths

sadly the best songs on this one ended up being their greatest hits = the ones i already knew. so it felt like i didnt miss out on much but still it was a great listen and i appreciated its consistency 85/100. SHOUT SHOUT LET IT ALL OUT

on my third complete relisten and its still not my fav zep record but a solid classic rock album anyway

i liked a few tracks but the album as a whole didn't leave much of an impression. the songs all sounded quite similar

the second half of the album is much much better. changed my original review because of that

i wasn't sure about the first few tracks but it really picked up as it went on, its a total slow burner and i really liked it

catchy and fun album. and it stoned me and into the mystic are absolutely magnificent

garage rock is not my fav subgenre of rock but this is surprisingly fun and most of all really good.

this is painfully mid and infuriating at times. i don't understand how it got on this list in the first place. absolute is the only actually listenable song

this was much more fun than i remembered god i love blur i wish british people were real... it's still not my favorite record of theirs but the guitar on this album is probably my favorite in their discography, it’s just so catchy

i like a few tracks but i still think this isn't their best album. it feels like they just produced music for the sake of having fun and experimenting at the expense of quality. i wonder what my opinion on this album would be if i weren't already a diehard damon albarn fan though

its not bad at all it just didn't leave me much of an impression and i don't think i'll ever revisit it

very repetitive and tedious to listen to but i liked it somehow

boring at times but ended up appreciating the album more than i thought i would. the atmosphere is consistent and i think her voice is amazing and fits the mood of the album perfectly

i cant say its not good but its a complete snoozefest
