oh no…. there’s no way is it just the same stuff repeated in every song also why is there 4 songs but it’s 53 minutes i don’t think there’s a world in which i would ever listen to this

when i kissed the teacher- a great opening track i actually really like this (8.2) dancing queen- a classic don’t think this song will ever not make me happy (8.2) my love my life- almost gives queen vibes, very pretty sonically (8.5) dum dum diddle- weakest so far but still like it (7.5) knowing me, knowing you- i like how they all sound different but still together like it’s not getting repetitive (7.3) money, money, money- okay another classic that everyone knows popular for a reason it’s very catchy (8.4) that’s me- not my favorite but still so catchy, can kinda see sabrina’s influence from this (7.2) why did it have to be me?- wow such a different sound but i like it… (8.3) tiger- this sounds so familiar sonically especially that one sound… very interesting (7.1) arrival- wow a magical intro, i am actually ascending (9.3) fernando- i knew of this song but it being in stranger things really showed me that i really love this song its sooo good (9.3) happy hawaii- cute song definitely one of the weakest (7.0)
-I like his voice -good melodies and funky instrumentals - very chill yacht rock vibes -IS PAST-TIME PARADISE WHAT AMISH PARADISE WAS BASED OFF LMAO - i’m sorry why are all his songs so long i really don’t like that in an album some are okay but like why are they all over 5 minutes - definitely liked disc one better songs i like: - loves in need of love today -have a talk with god -village ghetto land -past-time paradise -joy inside my tears songs i actively dislike: -contusion (sounds like whiplash and SNL mixed) - easy going evening
-another 70s… -straight off the bat i know this will be an album that is not technically bad but i just don’t like this style so im not gonna enjoy it much -nice voice and some funky beats -at least it’s short - albums like this are just like i’m never gonna feel compelled to listen to this ever again over every other album if that makes sense -and like a 10 minute song please i can’t deal with all these long 70s songs
oh no…. there’s no way is it just the same stuff repeated in every song also why is there 4 songs but it’s 53 minutes i don’t think there’s a world in which i would ever listen to this
-okay something different and that i am at least some what interested in -okay come on can i just get a normal album for once this is showing me 70s is a decade where there’s only a very specific sound i like -born under pressure no thanks -crosseyed and painless is better but still not very good -the great curve is fine -wait i know once in a lifetime and i like it -houses in motion is fine -seen and not seen is okay -listening wind is surprise surprise fine -i kinda like the overload
NOT THE 70s FINALLY HOORAH -wait i know cherry colored funk already maybe ill like this album cause this song is really good -their sound is pretty modern honestly like i could hear a song like pitch the baby now so maybe early 90s is coming back idk -also reminds me of the cure a little -i like iceblink luck -fifty fifty clown is groovy i like it -WAIT i know heaven or las vegas as well!!! - i also like wear your ring -fotzepolitic sounds familiar -wolf in the breast also sounds vaguely familiar i like the sound though -i like frou frou a lot actually - best album since the abba one - i actually like the sound and would listen to some of these songs again for sure
this was just not for me i tend to like early 2000s rap and hip hop and this was too much 80s influence
-wait this actually isn’t bad so far i kinda like the first song -very much a style of 80s song i like -if you let me stay reminds me of another artist idk who though -okay wait i actually like wishing well -middle are all good enough that im enjoying passively listening but no standouts -as yet untitled a little boring -who’s loving you is chilll -overall i probably won’t listen again but if it came on it’d be good chill background music ya know
- never heard of this - another long one with not many songs which i’ve decided i don’t really like i’d rather more songs that are shorter on a longer album or few longer songs on a shorter album - okay what is this weird lowfi jazz - bubbling water over a walkie talkie okay - bro egyptian vibes in the back - this sounds like a background song in the scooby doo monster island movie like all of them - little too experimental for me - also too much instrumental not enough words - yeah no 1 star
okay a birth year album -first glance i know do you realize and i like that song -first song isnt bad actually lowkey weirdly gives the beatles, okay i actually like it -one more robot eh… wait it’s growing on me the more i listen -yoshimi battles part 1 is cute sound reminds me of vampire weekend a little -only issue is the weird mechanical sounds are weird to me -part 2 absolutely no thanks -in the morning of magicians is making me so byler emo im crying this is genuinely making me depressed -ego tripping another emo byler song making me depressed okay wow -are you a hypnotist i like it but am i seeing byler everywhere i go cause like this one too im in psychosis -its summertime i like it a very sad bop its also reminding me of djo -do you realize i know it and like it already a stranger things edit after the finale with this song would make me kms probably -all we have is now i like it, okay it’s lowkey giving season 5 vecna vibes
okay this sound is interesting😭 -okay so far roadhouse blues is making me think i won’t like this it’s too 50s/60s still -waiting for the sun has some cool instrumental moments -you make me feel real no thanks -blue sunday is fine maybe my fav so far -ship of fools is fine -okay i like the spy actually and its lowkey giving vecna especially in terms of will -okay indian summer is really good and making me byler emo like im depressed now
okay wait i kinda like the virgin giving chill summer boat vibes -with tomorrow is giving something i just don’t know what i like it though like okay -so far these 3 songs have such a different vibe -lowkey giving bon dylan a little i’m actually enjoying this -because of you is so happy byler coded omg -one in a hundred is fine -for a spanish guitar is kinda nothingburger -and where my love lies asleep -these past couple songs have been good background that i would listen to in the summer but no stand outs but honestly i still like this -random stand by me cover okay -is ship of the lord a christian song…. -wait why is winter in lowkey stranger things finale coded if it was good ya know
never heard of them but another 70s album of course -idk about this sound -see no evil is eh -venus as well -friction too more nothingburger -lowkey all nothingburger not my vibe too repetitive sonically
-oooo a 90s album finally -um okay weird noises in line up -it’s fine i guess not really my sound though -connection is my fav so far -all these songs sound the same at least they are short -legit the same songs over and over -all nothingburger yawn
wow a 2017 album i’m shook -the sound is VERY 2017 immediately i feel like im in high school -say something loving is pretty good WAIT LOWKEY BYLER CODED OMG -i like a violent noise also lowkey byler if you read the lyrics -brave for you is lowkey mike coded but like someone saying it to him get it -ON HOLD BYLER ANGST OMGGGGGGGGGG "my young heart chose to believe we were destined young hearts all need love call it a lesson" LIKE COME ON -i date you is lowkey will coded and that’s tragic
okay o children man let’s go -kinda long -first song ain’t giving me hope -okay what is this it’s giving christian music -BRO YAWNFEST -okay wait galleon ship the instrumental is giving stranger things im lowkey emo this is good im sad -okay this song is beautiful why is it reminding me of stranger things ending im gonna kms -wait ghosteen speaks is kinda good too -wait why is ghosteen lowkey byler and WOLFSTAR CODED LIKE COME ON -lots of lows with a few highs
ay so far roadhouse blues is making me think i won’t like this it’s too 50s/60s still -waiting for the sun has some cool instrumental moments -you make me feel real no thanks -blue sunday is fine maybe my fav so far -ship of fools is fine -okay i like the spy actually and its lowkey giving vecna especially in terms of will -okay indian summer is really good and making me byler emo like im depressed now
okay a 90s album and a band i’ve heard of -um yeah okay -i actually just don’t like this that much i fear -lowkey all sounds the same again -literally just noise -like i can see how someone might like this i just don’t like this genre of weird indie rap almost rock i don’t even know -i can’t think of a scenario where i would ever listen to this organically
1969 of course of course -time has told me is lowkey byler coded and i like it actually -the albums that sound like this aren’t bad necessarily i just get a little bored with them which makes sense cause i love the 80s and current pop -i just wouldn’t necessarily ever listen to this organically -just not for me but not technically bad
another one of those 60s albums that all sound the same
80s at least -too long but okay -sounds more modern lowkey -kinda like honey -sound seems very experimental definitely leaning more 90s which makes sense since it’s 89 -so much religious matter -actually like lord can you hear me -it was fine overall nothing great but nothing egregious
okay bruce i’m interested -feel like i might actually like this -the vibe is fine so far nebraska reminds me of post malones more country songs and like feeling whitney -who’s the chicken man and why did we blow him up -he really loves a harmonica -so far these have been the same sonically and a little boring tbh -okay hit them notes -im bored -okay state trooper is kinda cool
early 2000s british rap right right
-like only love can break your heart giving will to mike vibes -again overall it’s not bad and if it was on in the background i wouldn’t mind it but this sound is just so boring to me and there are never really any standouts idk
-early 80s okay -fine no standouts shocker -another boring 80s album
-late 80s yay… i’m getting burnt out form 70s and 80s -sounds like wallows lowkey musically -don’t really like his voice -too rock leaning for me sounds more 70s than late 80s -the just like heaven cover…okay best song lowkey -yeah not for me
-okay legit just music -feel like im in whiplash -fine for what it is but when would i legit ever listen to this
not bad just not for me
- i hate when albums are super long because they have all the demos and weird versions like no one cares but that seems to be a common thing before the 90 -so no words for the first song -yeah no is a no immediately -it’s like they are trying to be david bowie and failing idk this is whack -some of the production i actually really like and then they ruin it with their weird vocals -like nothing is something in particular i actually like but it’s because it’s no words -
I recognized a couple songs to my surprise. This wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Some of the songs were okay like children of the damned. Overall they were just 5 star songs to me.
Was pretty groovy and actually liked some of the songs.
i liked this and would listen again but there were no real standouts that i would immediately go back to but it made me want to check out other stuff by them so more like 3.75
i liked i am hated for loving gave will byers other than that all sounds the same to me
so where is my mind is the only good song and most popular for a reason
not technically bad it’s just too much of the slow beatles esque 60s-70s that doesn’t speak to me
yeah no
i wanted to like this more but besides the two big hits the rest was just meh
alright is already a staple in my warm weather playlists and i like sofa of my lethargy gave will byers but overall the general style isn’t for me
i’ll listen to train if i want this type of music
