8/10. Lovely smooth listening jazz-soul album

Enjoyed this much more than I expected to. Some lovely psych and prog elements in here that really expanded my mind on what folk music can be. Definitely a revisit for me! 8/10

I didn't have too much time to listen all the way through, but I can see why people really love this album. They have a lot of experimental elements, especially for a mainstream rock band from the 90's. "London Loves" is an amazing tune, btw! 7.5/10 for me.

5/10. Probably good for it's time in 96', but it sounds quite dated and bland to me. I imagine if I was a teen at this time, I'd probably have loved this album when it come out. But retrospectively? It's distinctly average to me.

decent. I enjoyed some of the tunes on this, especially 'Brief Candles'... What unbelievable lyricisim! 7.5/10

8/10. Love the instrumentals... but not a huge fan of the vocal delivery. A solid album though!

It was kind of shit, but kind of captivating. It was like Khruangbin playing whilst an old drunken, but mysteriously wise, cough syrup addict offered some spoken word poetry. Some portions were quite nice.. but 1001 albums to listen to before you die? I'm not sure. 5/10
