Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Jan 19 2026

Knew the third song from the film Life Aquatic

Foo Fighters by Foo Fighters
Jan 23 2026

Weenie Beenie riff is cool

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jan 24 2026

A few songs had cool riffs, effects, or time signatures. I wish I liked it more. I'd seek them out before Foo Fighters, but I don't think I'll make this album a regular listen.

Ctrl by SZA
Jan 25 2026

I'd like to try more music like this, but for me the lyrics were a bit too conversation and simplistic.

Kilimanjaro by The Teardrop Explodes
Jan 26 2026

Kinda like the Talking heads. OK, but I wouldn't seek them out. Not unpleasant though.

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Jan 27 2026

A nice listen. I think I'd even seek it out sometimes. Glad I got an R&B album that I enjoyed more right after the (for me) less enjoyable Ctrl by SZA.

The Real Thing by Faith No More
Jan 28 2026

I'd like it more if there wasn't that one nasally singer. Definitely some cool tracks on here. I can't tell if they were ahead of their time, just experimenting, or both. I feel like there's lots of cool stuff in here. For example the bass in a few tracks hits hard, and their attempt at rap is sometimes cool.

Orbital 2 by Orbital
Jan 29 2026

Most pleasant instrumental album this far. Great music for certain kinds of work or exercise.

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet

Different Class by Pulp
Jan 31 2026

Whispery lyrics not for me. Music is ok, I wouldn't complain if it was on

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Feb 01 2026

Listnable, I like the simple and clear instrumentals and sometimes funny lyrics

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Feb 02 2026

It's beautiful playing, but 1 hour of piano noodling is too much for me

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Feb 03 2026

I like how the instruments got more and more feedback and "rusty" over the album

So by Peter Gabriel
Feb 04 2026

Not my thing, but I see how people could like it

1977 by Ash
Feb 05 2026

Only listened to first half, but somehow the vocals are too quiet and music a bit to muddy for me to love it

Feb 06 2026

It's another techno album. Would be fine for background for exercise or certain types of work.

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Feb 07 2026

Great singing. Good length for me too, not too long.

Synchronicity by The Police
Feb 09 2026

I don't really think it's worth listening to the whole album for 'Every Breath You Take'.

Parklife by Blur
Feb 10 2026

Listened to first half. I feel bad, but I find the heavy accent of the vocals annoying.

Ananda Shankar by Ananda Shankar
Feb 11 2026

I don't like sitar enough for this
