Young Americans is a great combination of Soul and Rock classic David Bowie Win is much slower but still such a soulful piece the backup singers are just amazing Fascination is another great jam not as strong as the first two but it still has that groove so far so good Right is a perfect blend of the slower pace Bowie established earlier and transforming it further that saxophone is just amazing Somebody up there likes me is not as strong as the songs before it for me but it still keep the motif Bowie is going for very strongly the last 1:30 is my favorite A great cover of a already great song. If I never heard the beatles version I'd assume this was an original Bowie song just by how much he imports his own essence into it. Can you hear me is exactly why I love David Bowie he just know how every note is supposed to hit its not my favorite song but it's classic David Bowie magic Fame is the only song I've heard before listening to this album and I can say for sure I see it much more positively now as a closer to the album. Interesting album cover 1967 67 This first song "Strange Brew" is trippy Sunshine of your love is a classic song, One of the first i was ever taught on guitar World of Pain gives me vibes that some shit is abt to go down like a bank robbery or something Dance the night away gives me some creepy vibes idk I'm imagining some skeletons dancing eternally Blue Condition sounds like a kids song but im pretty sure the lyrics are talking about being dead interesting song i think my least favorite so far. Tale of brave ulysses has interesting imagery im still trying to determine a meaning from it likely drugs tbh its the 60s SWLABR classic 60s rock song nothing wrong with it tho its catchy chorus is great. of course the lyrics are very random yet i somehow understand it if that makes sense We're going wrong is interesting not really vibing with it. Outside woman blues is starting off strong for me rlly interesting riff Take it back sounds great so far I like the ambient crowd cheering noises and i always love the hermonica, this one got me bumping my head Mother's Lament feels like something my Irish grandpa would sing to me randomly when hed get drunk. Def wna sing this in a bar even tho the lyrics lowkey sad tbh Overall this album aint bad this is my first album I've heard By cream. Eric clapton shows his very unique and sometimes genius guitar riffs that really defined this generation even tho hes a piece of shit RANKING 1.
