1001 Albums Summary

It’s the genre. Just lacks anything resembling originality. Hillbilly Highway? FFS

Not so much into jazz.. this was ok … good background music.

I never listed to rap / hip hop - not really my thing, but if I ever want to, - which I may now- I’ll go to this.

Just not sure. I feel like it might improve with multiple listens. The music is solid in parts. It’s probably just a bit silly I think. Just don’t think I’d go back to it.

The first track is probably my most favourite of all jazz tracks. Watermelon man is pretty good too. Enough for 4 stars!

Some banging tracks mixed with terrible ones.

Needs to get some Doors into my rotation.

Makes me want to bump up other albums I have rated 1 star!

Definitely not my thing

As I was listening to this - which I have listened to many times before - it struck me how well produced the album was. I had no idea that it was produced by David Bowie and his guitarist Mick Ronson. No wonder it sounds so good. A brilliant album.

I’ve heard plenty of Iggy Pop before, but never a whole album. Really liked this one.
