Ehhhh… not a big fan of the early Beatles

The interactions with prisoners between songs really get me, even if the country music does not. Though there were definitely some songs on here that I could vibe with

I admire people who can separate the artist from the art. I cannot. And this is not a well aged piece of art as a consequence

Sounds a bit like Black Country, New Road; with it’s complicated compositions and a ‘fake’ sound of old oldness. Ultimately, this album commits the sin of being boring.

This is Willie Nelson queening out and I love that for him.

Sonically, all over the place. Maybe that’s what’s to be expected from prog rock tho.

This is a great album with a timeless sound. Never heard of Isaac Hayes and now I feel bad that I do.
