1001 Albums Summary

Some good songs, but overall not my type.

I had higher expectations for this, thought I would like this but for me all songs seemed the same.

Wonderful artist! Already saved some songs to my playlists. So energetic!

Never heard of Neil Young before. Some songs were good, great music if you need something moody or for thinking

Never heard of him before but this was so easy to listen to. Real feel-good music. I especially liked Be (intro), They Say and It's Your World

I did not know that Sultans of Swing is their song. I also did not know that is the name of the song. I guess there are just songs you know but have no idea who performs them or what is their name. Overall great album, especially for the debut!

All of the songs are almost the same. Good as background music.

I want to give one star but I will add one more just because the entire album wasted only 15min of my life. I think I spent more time on Spotify adds than listening to the songs of this album.

I did not know Green Day was such a fun band 30 years ago and I did not know Basket Case is their song. Perfect for Friday!

I did not know these are the original performers for song Missing. Other than that good elevator music.

This will be my new favorite programming music album.

So good! And so energetic. Darkness is my favorite.

"A Sailor's Life" was so hypnotic. About the album - looking at the cover I did not know what to expect, then I read reviews and thought something completely opposite. Now after listening to half of the album, I can say that truth is somewhere in the middle but overall this is something different.

I wanted to give 1 star but Down, down, down and Soldier's Things earned one more.

What surprised me the most is that this album is more than 30 years old but the music still sounds so fresh. Never listened to them before but still enjoyed most of their songs in this album.

Albums like these make me question were there really no better albums to put in this list? Last two songs were OKish

I did not know "Dreaming of You" is their song. What I like about this album is that all songs are so different and easy to listen to.

Last song and Walk were OKish, rest same screaming

I actually enjoyed it a lot. Most of the songs were good.

I am sorry, I had higher expectations of this. All songs are pretty much the same. Radio Free Europe was at least a bit more energetic.

Just amazing! Especially "Send a Picture of Mother" and "The Wall" and all his interactions with prisoners and them cheering.

Compared to many other albums on this list I think this one actually deserves to be here. I doubt there is any person in the world - young or old - who at least once have not heard "Beautiful Day".

As someone said Immigrant Song was such a good start and then the rest are quite same and do not match the energy. 3.8/5 so 4 stars

Listening to this album makes me scared, anxious and uncomfortable.

This list contains so much smaller part of women voices and this one was so melodic and soothing.

Never listened to them previously and previously I thought their music is more hard-core. Turns out it is actually quite calm. I like it.

Never listened to Ryan Adams or any of his songs so looking at the cover I thought that this will be finally an album full of heartbreak inspired piano ballades but it is not! All the songs are the same - very meh

5 stars for the lyrics, 1 star for the voice and music

I did not know Heads Will Roll is their song! Some songs are boring but some are such magic! So far Runaway is my favorite
