while my guitar gently weeps is first decent one imo carried entirely by the guitar solos. the moaning ??? martha my dear is sooo cute blackbird and i will is cute too revolution 1 would’ve been a really good closing song i can’t believe i sat through the entirety of revolution 9. it actually was killing me to not skip felt nothing for any of the other songs, i dont understand the love for this album at all it feels so soulless and theres no heart in 90% of it

i was just thinking freddie’s dead sounds like such a movie song then realised the album literally is a movie’s soundtrack think instrumental is sweet i feel so annoying cus all these albums are just gonna be rated 1 for me 😭😭😭

i understand the appeal of this heroes is soooo good, sounds so ahead of its time sense of doubt sounds like a fuckin silent hill theme 😭😭😭😭 moss garden is soooo nice neukoin is creeping me out a lot more cohesive than the previous two but heroes heavily carries

i thought i’d like this cus i like some of their most popular songs but its soooo noiseslop i feel like i have to say somethingpositive 😭 so its cool that they have a really distinctive sound. like a lot of these songs i could hear you’re gonna go far kid in them (the style of vocals) even though they sound nothing alike. and if i had to like one song it’d be what happened to you

a lot less messy than the offspring album but i dont think this is for me still i liked dam that river kinda? i like a certain part of the chorus but the rest of the song doesnt hit like that specific part it has a depressing vibe that i cant fw. it doesnt make me feel depressed but like you can tell what its trying to go for and i find it kinda cringe especially in sickman. “though i walk through the valley of rape and despair” ??? 😭 would is prob best song on the album which doesnt say much cus the albums really bad but it actually is quite a decent song

genuinely makes me feel nothing but boredom and dissociation if the entire album was more like limelight it’d be a much better album. actually a good song

this music is so fascinating to me cus i cant believe people REALLY fw it heavy. i don’t even mean it in a bad way its just such a different world i’ve heard of i walk the line before but never listened to it so i was expecting it to be better than it is i dont hate this as much as ive hated the other albums but like its just. extremely boring and a nothingburger

omg im dreading this prince songs are all like 8 minutes long 😫😫😫 housequake genuinely just pissed me off. i saw a review mentioning how bad it is but i genuinely couldnt even expect this this + past albums just have been making me think abt how wildly overrated old music and people are blinded by nostalgia and the popular (especially 80s) songs and they talk down on modern music when in reality so much fucking old music is genuinely SO bad 😭 theres way more good modern music than there is old music on average the ballad of dorothy parker is good. lyrics are still sooo weird starfish and coffee is alright too slow love is good too! strange relationship prob my fave i actually really like it and i could never take the place of your man though i genuinely don’t know why its stretched for an extra 2 whole minutes of nothing the album has good songs but it also has like REALLY really terrible inexcusable ones 😭😭 hard to rate this one

i love the melody of firecracker when he's singing but i gen cant stand. idk what instrument that is but its in every folk song like bob dylan music. i hate it sm but dude the rest of firecracker is so good. that instrument is SO GRATING!!! so far this is so much better than honestly like 99% of the albums ive heard........... and probably the best folk album ive heard......... the reviews made me ready to hate it idk what people r on but i am only 4 songs in and it is a long album so i like rescue blues too and harder now that it’s over. album should be over by now though there are a lot of boring repetitive songs. this didnt need to be 21 songs long 😭 its more like a 2.5 but i have to give it a 3 bcs a 2 is too low. i don’t even like it all that much but there is like 5 songs i liked, in a 21 song length album thats not saying much but its objectively a much better folk album than the others ive heard
