Debut by Björk
Mar 26 2026

Buxbaum would play "Human Behavior" and "Big Time Sensuality" at A Cappella all the time. Her vocals are actually incredible. I'm kind of vibing with the trip pop parts, unsure about the jazz. I have finished one listen through and will probably do another. Now that I've already eaten and my appetite is satiated, I really want to digest it.

Abraxas by Santana
Mar 27 2026

Me outloud, seeing that today was a Santana album: "OH HELL YEAH".

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Mar 30 2026

Not a die hard fan of heavy metal/hard rock, but will still rock out!!

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Mar 31 2026

i hate the stones, couldn't make it to the second song bro

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Apr 02 2026

I wanted so bad to like this but I am just confused. I was expecting rock but there's a lot of disjointed jazz. The organ on The Only Way was pretty sick.

KE*A*H** (Psalm 69) by Ministry
Apr 03 2026

i fuck with this ngl. learned a lot about industrial music/rock

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Apr 06 2026

So good. Elicits that melancholia that feels comforting, because you know others share the feeling. I want to curl up on a rainy day and drink this album out of a mug.

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
Apr 07 2026

Hell yesssss. Fave tracks are No Compassion, The Book I Read, Pulled Up. Definitely was bopping my head to most of these songs.

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Apr 12 2026

Dawg I just can’t stand Mick Jaggers voice. Nails on a chalkboard.

Goo by Sonic Youth
Apr 16 2026

Couldn't make it through. Cool sound, but pretty harsh. Maybe if I was in a different mood, I would like it, but it was stressing me out lol

Faith by George Michael
Apr 17 2026

HELL YEAH BROTHER. That’s some baby-making music right there.

2112 by Rush
Apr 21 2026

Loved it. Lyrics are deceptively simple but still very relatable. I want a copy!

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Apr 22 2026

Easy listening, obviously classic, but just kind of blended all together in the background.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Apr 23 2026

I used to say I hate CCR. But I fuck with this heavy.

Pictures At An Exhibition by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Apr 24 2026

sure, go off i guess?? I love the organ, and I'm impressed this was a live performance.

Night Life by Ray Price
Apr 27 2026

actually loved every minute of this

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Apr 28 2026

Thrifted this bad boy on CD on a trip to BHAM with Anne last month. LOVE it.

Justified by Justin Timberlake
May 01 2026

Rating solely based on nostalgia factor. Some of these are soooo cringe, looking back. We thought they were so cooll lolllll

Blunderbuss by Jack White
May 02 2026

Cool musicality, voice and lyrics are just cringe.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
May 05 2026

Ah, yes. The soundtrack for A Cappella Books. One of the best, obviously.

May 07 2026

LOVED this, also registered to Deja Vu, the Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young album that YT suggested after and it was so good.

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
May 08 2026

Dancing in the Dark is my jam and I appreciate the protest songs but my god The Boss really loves a loud fucking song, every song has a backbeat and an organ.

Highway to Hell by AC/DC
May 09 2026

The title song is obviously SO overplayed, but it's interesting to hear it in the original context. I just love some good old ROCK AND ROLL!

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
May 10 2026

Very fun, psychadelic/hipster, tried to listen while cooking but liked it better while driving in the car. Rock Operas need to come back again.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
May 12 2026

Another A Cappella classic. Love.

Club Classics Vol. One by Soul II Soul
May 13 2026

I just realized I listened to volume 2 for some reason??? Gonna go listen to volume one now
