1001 Albums Summary

Virtually flawless album. It has its bumps and nicks, sure, but I don’t that that takes away from the importance of what this album has to say or the character it has. Even the criticisms of this one’s shortcomings seem invalid because they mesh so perfectly with the narrative/ideas of the album that it doesn’t even bring down the quality of it!

An awesome, dense album from a band I’ve never heard of before.

Completely packed with hits, yet completely devoid of any character… a remarkably annoying debut… if I had to pick any album to be characterized as a product of its time exclusively, this would be the one! 2/10

Very good country album from the sixties with that smoky-room, accessible feeling I’ve been chasing This one’s easy listening. Probably my favorite county album I’ve heard yet

9/10 I looooooveee thiss mannnn. Kinda silly, kinda emotional, all blues… quickly becoming my favorite genre of music

7.5/10 ABBA was always putting out some real bangers. It’s a little too theatrical at some parts of the album, which is the downfall of most of their work for me, but there are some undeniably awesome songs on here and absolutely worth your time. One of Us, head over heels, slipping through my fingers… all super cool songs

6.3/10 Not exactly my tempo, like I’m not really into this type of electronic music however for its time it was super innovative and cool which is pretty interesting
