This surprised me how good it was. Born in the USA establishes an energy and then most of the tracks stick with the sound. Its remorseful and hopeful. I have a feeling it will resonate with me for the rest of my life. Add in the fact that Dancing in the Dark is a nostalgic piece I didnt know Bruce Springsteen sang, and this is a near perfect album

I didnt like it as much as the other The Doors album I listened to, but I did appreciate Ship of Fools and how some songs seemed to flow into one another

What teh fuck was We will fail?!? In all seriousness it made the album more memorable. There was crazy sounds that reminded me of pink floyd, arctic monkeys, and highly suspect. 4 stars

A very interesting sound. It was very evocative with the Christian imagery and the disgust it wanted to conjure. I bet a second listen would make me more appreciative. 3 stars

This album with the visual aid of the NH/VT hills let me stop thinking and start feeling the music. Sometimes that can be hard for me, but it happened here. I might overinflate the rating because of that

I never know how to rate jazz music. I dont know the intricacies. I imagine this is more impressive if you did know the cool stuff

Very upbeat. The sound felt more modern rock than it's age, which surprised me.

What a classic NY sound. I love East Coast hip hop the most, but this album was not addressed to me. I had a hard time relating. If I did I bet the score would be higher

Absolutely gorgeous album. The first song really hooks you into the album, and all the songs have a grandness to them. 5 stars.

Forgettable

What a fun album. To me this is the perfect fuse of rock and country elements (note: country elements should not be the main course)
