Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Jul 13 2026

Awesome album, but given it's my first album I'll give it a 4 to be on the conservative side. Overall, enjoyed all the songs. The first half of the album is more rock-like. A wide range of instruments were used to create funky instrumentals and the vocals are strong. The vocals are strong. Immigrant Song and Since I've Been Loving You are the highlights and they are awesome. The second half of the album mellowed out to be more like folk music and Tangerine and That's The Way are both very lovely songs. I also quite enjoyed these more acoustic songs.

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Jul 14 2026

Groovy! Very fun and We Are Family is a banger! It all sounds very nice but after a while it all blends into one and nothing in particular stands out. Its very pleasant and easy on the ears which makes it a very nice morning listen for work. 3 stars.

I like this one the more that I think about it and listen to it knowing the premise of a rock opera about a bisexual alien rock star coming to a Earth that day 5 years left? There's a lot of on at once ngl but a lot of it sounds quite epic

Jul 16 2026

I don't think I'm the target audience for this but it's cool. The album had a slow start for me but once the Stevie Wonder sampling hit in Footprints that was pretty lit. I think the second half picks up or maybe I just got accustomed to the music but I was liking the beats more. Interesting songs throughout like Footprints, Bonita Applebum, and Can I Kick it?. I thought Ham and Eggs was also so fun and silly. Maybe this is the nature of hip hop music but the guy's voice had a very similar cadence throughout the entire album. I enjoyed the beats and smooth flow. 3 stars

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens

Loved the horns, loved the whimsy! 4 stars

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Jul 20 2026

Listened to this while walking and it might've been peak. Liked the stories in the songs. Never a dull moment. This is my favourite genre of white dad music.

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Jul 21 2026

sorry no review today because getting increasingly busyat work so can't review em like that. very enjoyable music and full of soul

Roots by Sepultura
Jul 22 2026

nope nope nope you cannot convince me to like this and I listened to all 1 hour and 12 mins of this. so much throaty screaming... i don't wanna hear it! also just like random sounds are just playing at times?

Van Halen by Van Halen
Jul 23 2026

Guitar solos were overkill sometimes.

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Jul 24 2026

Sorry I literally remember nothing from this album. Neither good or bad.

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
Jul 27 2026

This sounds aggressively like the 4th of July. They gave me 2 Springsteen albums in a week! I liked Born To Run much more which had a more grand sound with all the instruments and the storyline of leaving somewhere. This album was more synthy and relying on hooks and stuff but felt much lies epic. Dancing in the Dark is awesome though.

Heroes by David Bowie
Jul 28 2026

Tried like 2 times and could not get past the first 2 songs. Something about Beauty and the Beast irks me so bad. I guess it's a really a product of time and I am not for it. I liked Heroes (shoutout Moulin Rouge Elephant Love Medley). Then came the instrumentals. I like the Sense of Doubt one but then the next one was just like stereotypical yoga music and it was 5 minutes long? Then by the time the third instrumental comes on I don't wanna listen to these anymore. Then the last song is like the first ones in the album and its like whiplash after all those random instrumentals. I don't get it.

Jul 29 2026

I've heard the song Tainted Love many times in my life with no idea where it came from or who it was by. Now I now that it is on the same album as a song called Sex Dwarf where there are what I presume to be alien sex sounds. I'm so sick of this album, I just want it to be over. I don't want to listen to it anymore and not even Tainted Love can save it. At least Sex Dwarf was interesting but a lot of these songs are just bad. I'm sick of the same synth sounds and I'm not convinced this guy can sing.

Histoire De Melody Nelson by Serge Gainsbourg
Jul 30 2026

this is fucking disgusting, i don't wanna listen to his fuck ass spoken word poetry. the second song pisses me off the way they making her say her name all breathy and sexy. with the limited french I know, he's calling her a delicious CHILD. sonically pretty alright but why did people let this become famous ugh. all that for her to just die (in a plane crash??? thats lazy writing too like why did he survive the crash) at the end so she can forever be that little girl that he fucked. they had sex sounds of the girl in one of the songs and thats so disturbing
