Arrival by ABBA
Jul 16 2026

Listened: 7/15/26 Not my usual. However. Not the worst album I've ever listened to. 3/5 Standout tracks, no order: 1. When I Kissed the Teacher Has some shockingly good beats + melodies 2. Dancing Queen (obv) A classic forever 3. Money Money Money So different from the rest of the album. Kind of threatening sounding 4. Fernando Has an incredible synthesizer. Crazy whiplash in each section of the song. 5. Arrival What is this? sounds very celtic. i feel this as more of a departure sound. Overall: I can see why it made the waves it did at the time. Maybe I need to research some more.

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Jul 17 2026

Great vibes. Would definitely put this on in the background in the morning, super chill, easy to listen, nice flow. Solid 4/5-- excellent, but not mind-blowing.

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Jul 18 2026

A classic. The standout songs really bump this one from a 3 to a 4 for me.

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Jul 19 2026

Cool to hear Supertramp's breakout album; fave track was definitely Crime of the Century. Each track had standout parts, but I wasn't really feeling most of them as a cohesive whole. Loved the sax on Crime of the Century tho!

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jul 20 2026

3/5 -- really wanted to like this one, but ended up skipping several tracks that didnt hit quite right. Fave track "Dull Life" -- actually a banger.

25 by Adele
Jul 21 2026

4/5. Impressive. Would never in a million years have chosen to listen to this full album, but its got a lot of bangers.

Good Old Boys by Randy Newman
Jul 23 2026

Nothing really stood out to me here. I can't say I enjoyed the lyrics or the stories too much, and none of the songs made a lasting impression on me. Adding an extra star because at least none of the songs made me want to hit skip. 2/5

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Jul 24 2026

I loved this, so fun. Good vibes. Honestly like the heavily instrumental angle, wasnt a big fan of the one vocal track. 4/5

Vauxhall And I by Morrissey
Jul 26 2026

3/5 listenable but overall feels kinda milquetoast

Tago Mago by Can
Jul 27 2026

Enjoyed scattered parts, really liked the end of Oh Yeah. I can see why this might hit, but just wasnt it for me. 2/5

Dig Me Out by Sleater-Kinney
Jul 30 2026

not my thing but i enjoyed it!

Quiet Life by Japan
Aug 03 2026

Enjoyed the performances but the vocals were a lityle out of place at times

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Aug 04 2026

Really was blown away by the first track, but it became more self similar as the tracks went on. Enjoyable but not perfect for me.
