that intro song/medley, uff. Very entertaining Album

Orbital 2 by Orbital

This is probably all I ever looked for in Electronic music without knowing that I did. Such a versatile, fun, complex, but not overladen composition.

Enjoyed this album on a hot summer's day. I like the first half better. The very sexual songs made me a bit uncomfortable. Sometimes it’s a bit too slow for my taste.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette

"Ironic" and "Hand in my Pocket" will be bangers 4-ever! As a big karaoke-fan I will always appreciate those car-radio sing-along hits. Otherwise it's a consistent album. But as a whole it gets quite boring after a couple of listens.

The Pleasure Principle by Gary Numan
Aug 07 2026

It’s quite boring and in instrumentally really basic, if not bad, in my opinion. It’s probably an important album for some kind of new wave / synth tradition which I don’t want to diminish. I still don’t think it’s necessarily good …

I don’t know. With the Beatles I have the impression you’re just supposed to like them and rate them 5 stars and if you don’t you have to have a really eloquent critique that demonstrates your music literacy to legitimize your rating.

Olympia 64 by Jacques Brel

This reminds me of my late granddad. It always felt so cozy at his home when the French chansons or the jazz big bands were playing. Favs were “Amsterdam” and “Les Timides”.

Masterful.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Aug 18 2026

Maybe this album popped up at the wrong day for me but I did not like it. I felt it was too overladen with an array of sounds. It uncomfortably forced a good mood that I could not adapt to. It was just annoying all in all.

Want One by Rufus Wainwright
Aug 19 2026

To me it sounds like this album is a nostalgia service to people older than me. This is probably true for a lot of albums on here. Still, I don’t see anything particular or special about this album. I also don’t get the lamenting tone in every song.
