1001 Albums Summary

Too noodley for my liking.

Didn’t enjoy this album as much as I thought I would. The only song I can remember from it is Marquee Moon.

Brought the shoulders down, gorgeous

Always 5 stars for the King ♥️

Beautiful, made me cry at work. Rest in paradise, Dolly 🦋

Enjoyable and kind of bonkers, but wouldn’t listen to it again.

All killer, no filler. What a banger.

Planet Claire is an awesome song, but 40 mins of the B-52s is a bit much for me. I think I prefer No Wave to New Wave, tbh.

I think 1001 albums might be too many

I’d forgotten that I actually quite like Acid House

Air gets a lot of airtime (pun not intended) in my house and I do love French Electronica, but I’ve never listened to Moon Safari in full………. …..and I’m so glad I did! Gorgeous strings arrangements. I enjoyed it so much I listened to it twice and I’ll be buying a hard copy at some point. This has been firmly added to my list of favourite albums.

Gave up half way through track 3 - there’s only so many rape references that I am willing to put up with. And that would be none.
