Every time I hear someone say Elvis Costello I say ‘hell yeah’ but I’ve only heard like 4 songs. Pete Thomas is the perfect drummer. Smooth and powerful. Alison and Blame it On Cain are perfect songs. Lost me a bit at the end but it’s still a 5/5 for me

I’m glad they suggested a hip-hop album this early - what a listen. The first five songs knocked me on my ass. I never knew It’s Trippy sampled My Sharona (power pop follows me everywhere). My Adidas into Walk This Way transition is iconic. The drumming on Perfection is how I aspire to play

Monday, Monday and California Dreamin’ - some classics. Other than that I didn’t love it. I didn’t hate it…but it feels like every band that wasn’t The Beatles was trying to them in 1966. 3 stars for 2 hits and for The In Crowd

Not my favorite Freddy, but one of my favorite Roger Taylor’s. Felt like it took them a few swings before they got a hit with the bohemian rhapsody album

A+ plus title. A fun, frightening and hauntingly beautiful pieces of music. I’d like to visit Sufjan Stevens’ mind and Illinois, but I wouldn’t want to live in either. It’s such a cool thing to feel like you’re traversed a state’s whole history after listening to an album.
