Ramones by Ramones

They had 3 chords and a vision. And that was enough.

Abbey Road by Beatles

A perfect 10. One of the most iconic albums of all time and personally impactful albums in my life. The stretch of You Never Give Me Your Money - The End might be the peak of music. And this is all without even mentioning the songs that made it to the radio - Come Together, Something, Oh Darling, or Here Comes The Sun.

Not bad, but not great either. It's a solid album for a casual rock listener, and I found myself nodding my head along frequently. The songs are catchy, energetic, and easy to enjoy. But beyond that, I never felt particularly invested in what the album was doing. Maybe if someone had shared this with me on MySpace in 2006, I would have become an Arctic Monkeys lifer. Part of the album's appeal seems tied to the era it came from and how fresh it sounded at the time. Listening in 2026, I can appreciate why it was successful, but I don't hear something I'd consider essential listening before I die.

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis

The best Miles album out there. In my big 3 jazz albums with A Love Supreme & The Black Saint And The Sinner Lady. And if this is "hold music" then Breaking Bad is just a soap opera. Some people's takes are ridiculous.

Definitely Maybe by Oasis

I have never really given Oasis or much britpop a chance other than the classic hits like Wonderwall, Don't Look Back in Anger, Bitter Sweet Symphony, or Song 2. But this album was alot of fun for me! It definitely made my "revisit list" and I will be including some other britpop albums in that.

I respect it. This album had an incredible amount of influence on the Hip Hop scene of the 90s. Chuck D - awesome. Flavor Flav - kinda gets annoying tbh. Loved the sampling lyrics but some of record scratches and repetitive beats gets tiring. High of the album - I got a letter from the government the other day I opened and read it, it said they were suckers They wanted me for their army or whatever Picture me givin' a damn, I said "Never" Here is a land that never gave me a damn About a brother like me and myself because they never did I wasn't wit'it, but just that very minute It occured to me, the suckers had authority.
