I liked the melodic soundscapes and the fact many of the songs go well over 5 minutes, giving the tracks a chance play out. I'm not a huge fan of the vocals. I just think Robert Smith's singing can be a bit jarring and I'm also not that keen on his self-loathing/depressive style. However, I found myself enjoying the album for the most part and I would listen to large parts of the album again. A good introduction to The Cure having only heard a few tracks before. Some nice moments in the album i like and i can appreciate why it's been so widely received. Feels very of it's time. It's not probably an album I'd actively listen to again (apart from one or two songs) but it would make nice quiet background music for an evening. Favorite track: Diamonds on the soles of her shoes.
Some nice stuff here, a style I havent listened to extensively. I'm not sure I'd say this is must listen, but it's a solid live performance with lots of soul. Favourite track: Twisting The Night Away
Loce this kind of music, and some Cream songs, but I just feel overall this album is a little overrated. First two songs are good but doesn't really get going after that. Some nice outros on a couple songs but they fade out just as the solo gets going. Bit of a shame to listen to but not all bad. Favourite tracks: Sunshine Of Your Love, Strange Brew
Fun stuff. Feels a bit short, but some good tracks on here and a solid album. Favourtie tracks: Bitch, Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Brown Sugar
Great beats and production. Packed with 17 tracks in under an hour. It's up there with some of the best hip hop albums I've heard. Favourite tracks: A Day At The Races, High Fidelity, Freedom, Break, What's Golden
I dont know a lot about this album. People say its early heavy metal - I'm not sure why. It sounds like psychedelic rock to me. Hard to review this album objectively not understanding the significance of its release creating a new genre. However, it's not a bad album.

Nice textures and imaginative sound. There's a lot going on and i think it needs to really be appreicated with no distractions. Prefer the female vocalist at lot more to the guy. Was hoping it would go up a gear; quite slow and sad at times. Good one to add to the collection though. Favourite tracks: Say Something Loving, Performance, Replica, On Hold, Test Me
First steps into Leonard Cohen, honestly found it a bit dull. I would listen to see what else he's done but this isnt an album i'll likely be returning too. Favourite track: So Long, Marianne
All the tracks sound like they'd be good as background music for tv and film (which i think they are?). Interesting sounds but feels maybe a bit repetitive to listen to as an album. Favouite tracks: Porcealin, Run On, If Things Were Perfect
Wasnt expecting much after Karma Chameleon but suprisingly well rounded album, albeit quite short. They are good musicians. Nice solo/guitar in Miss Me Blind too - would have liked more of that. Favourite track: It's A Miracle

I love the idea and the imagination of this. Not really tracks you could pick out as outstanding. You really have to listen the whole album through as it kinda plays like one long track. At times it's unsettling and lucid, other times kinda funny. But it's interesting experimentation that doesn't feel completely like music but a different thing all together
