Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Oct 14 2026

Great album for moody days. 4 out of 5

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Oct 15 2026

So exhausting to listen to the full album (and I did it, from waking up until lunchtime). The first side of the album is magnificent, a worthy 4 stars (it could be a 4.2/3 grade), but the last 2.5 hours are too much (repetitive, boring, grueling, and too long). Ella is a one-of-a-kind artist with a unique voice, and her other work (for example, her songs with Louis Armstrong) is distinctive and special, but this could be 1, maybe 2 sides album, and it would be one of the best in history. If it were possible, I would give it a 2.5 rating, but I will round it up out of respect for the artist.

Darkness on the Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen
Oct 16 2026

Not the best Springsteen album (there aren't any memorable singles or songs). In my opinion, not sure it's a must-hear album. Didn't change my life. It's worth a 2.7 score.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Oct 17 2026

Not a big indi fan, so I wasn't impressed. Kind of (too) dreary and tiring. I would give it a 2.5.

Revolver by Beatles
Oct 18 2026

No words. 10 stars!

My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello
Oct 19 2026

Good start for the Elvis Costello discography. I liked this album, very 70's, some great songs (didn't know that Alison is his). Its a 3.8 grade album.

Oct 20 2026

Not my complete cup of tea (although I have a soft spot for Ray Charles), but it's OK and went fast. Didn't give me any memorable moments, but made me think, how much people paid for a 30-minutes live concert back in the 60's? I would give it 2.7 ratings

...Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
Oct 21 2026

Wow, a huge nostalgic pop music, on the top of the late 90's-early 2000's pop era. The album is a banger (from that genre and era), and I was amazed to hear some surprises in that album ("Soda Pop" and the cover for "The Beat Goes On"), and I really enjoyed it. It a solid 3.8 record.

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Oct 22 2026

Not that bad and I kind of enjoyed it, although I love this kind of music and I believe it deserved a 3.5 ratings

Don't Stand Me Down by Dexys Midnight Runners
Oct 23 2026

Awful. I understand why it was a failure when it was released. Its a 1.5 ratings for sure. It's also frightening that I haven't understood any word in English.

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Oct 24 2026

Not bad, loved some singles, and generally, it was above 3.5 stars, so I cannot give it less.

Fuzzy Logic by Super Furry Animals
Oct 26 2026

Plain and boring. Not the great 90's pop we all know. It's a 1.5 stars, barely.

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Oct 27 2026

Surprisingly good and enjoyable. Loved it and cannot give it less than 4 stars.

Tical by Method Man
Oct 29 2026

OK, i think. Not much to say. After 2 records of Beastie boys, this was not as good as those.

Gentlemen by The Afghan Whigs
Oct 30 2026

Sounds like a bad RHCP record (which there isn't one). Very boring and sometimes weird. 2.2 stars

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Oct 31 2026

I can understand why people love them so much. Unique Depeche Mode sound and style. Im not the biggest fan of the 80's music (which I believe is the worst decade), but I kind of enjoyed listen to this record.

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield
Nov 01 2026

Nothing to talk about

Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned
Nov 02 2026

Hmm... OK I guess. Very English music, nice tunes, and crazy lyrics. It's should be a 2.5 stars.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Nov 03 2026

I'm biased, since this is my favorite band of all time, and this is maybe second to Californication, so of course its a 4.2 rating.

69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields
Nov 04 2026

My god. Couldn't start, and worse, couldn't finish it. Don't understand it at all. Suffered all the way to 1 star
