Chucklehead built their brand on impressive live shows, but that doesn't always translate very well to the studio. In this case, their brand of jazzy funk rock just sorta washed over me with no one song standing out. Also can't stand the RHCP-style rapping. Not notable in the slightest, but they were fine otherwise. CONTENDER FOR THE LIST: I can't think of a single reason why it should be.

Hunh. Jam bands have rabid followings but their albums never really capture the trance that they cast on their enraptured fans. It’s another funk band from the 1990s without much major media exposure. Ok but derivative of RHCPs.

Jazz with heavy bass lines. It didn't really draw me in.

It's fun and I'd love to see these guys live but really speaking this is a Tribute band. They are recreating a genre sound.

Not bad! Cool little modern funk album.

Unmemorable I’m afraid

Basic stuff

Yeah I just have different tastes than this submitter. Dr Octagon is apparently a five star album while Pet Sounds is one star. Sounds like a random band you’d hear in a bar. Rating: 1.4

Bad Frat party music.

Det kommer mer musik från mig när jag ätit ärtsoppa. Och så har de mage att göra en våldtäkt på en Beatleslåt. Katastrofalt dåligt.

Trash.

Very, very funky, but mainly in the sense of a bad smell. Rating: 1.5 Playlist track: Retrosexy Date listened: 19/11/24
