Reviews
This one caught me off guard. Much like Rick Astley, I was expecting someone bigger, more barrel-chested, maybe even darker melanined. To say George Ezra caught me off guard is a bit of an understatement. While not totally my jam, his stuff is beguiling.
Always loved the song BUDAPEST! So glad to see this album show up today. After so many punk and indie rock albums that are fine, but have no unique character-this album by George Ezra is such a refreshing change! Standout songs: Budapest, Blame it on Me, Casey O', Barcelona I thought this album was great. I had only heard Budapest before but the rest of the album is so good! 4/5 (maybe even higher in the future)
Missed out on the George Ezra wave I guess… I liked his deep sound and Budapest sounded very familiar, so I probably have heard this before. At times he started to sound a lot like The Crash Test Dummies with the quirky dial turned down a little bit. I liked it!
I'm clearly no longer British enough to appreciate this; I found it very boring.
Boooooooring
This was quite big when it came out. The singles were played a lot on the radio. It's fun music, with a lot to sing along to
