The Bends
RadioheadThis incarnation of Radiohead is great songwriting before they started to branch out with more experimentation. The songwriting is rock solid and Street Spirit is one of my favourite tracks of theirs

Classic thrash metal. Doesn't have the melody or nuances of some of the other metallica record but it's all about the riffs. Solid riffage for some long ass songs. Great record but they needed to turn Jason's bass up.
Musicianship is outstanding, def a 'musicians band'. Alot of 80s feel with the synths used but it's still rock at it's core. The song YYZ was a big showmanship of all 3 of the musicians, all top of their game. I'm not a huge fan of Geddy's voice so can't see myself digging into the band too much besides the hits.
I don't know, is this pulled from a clips of a movie or something. It doesn't belong here, it belongs at a 20 year old art students weed party
Classic for me. Great riffs and Dave emerging from his Nirvana chrysalis
Some solid songwriting and excellent production. Turns out I knew half the record because it’s half hit songs. I would say 3.5 for me
Nice warm classic rock, some cool bass and guitar licks. Production reminds me a lot of early Sabbath/Bowie. Little bit hippy and whimsical of the time. Road trippin music.

classic blues, Holds all the vibes. Really takes you back to what the 60's concerts were like with the screaming girls and chit chatting to the crowd about relationships. Super chill. 3.5/5

It was alright but not really my kind of jam.
I have rumours belted into my head so this album just doesn't seem to hit the same heights. Some really nice sounds and harmonies but the songs never really hooked me in.
This is what jazz sounds like. It's jazzy and smooth. Unfortunately I don't feel like listening to this as I work without a glass of whisky and a cigarette
A few big hits and some really nicely written songs. Solid production but I'd probably just chuck on the classics

Distinctive, cruisy and just great beats/samples. Reminds me of high school. How I could just kill a man is my fav track
Easy listening, Streets of Your Town is a classic.
Yeeeaahhhhhhh boooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Great album from a band I haven't really sat down and listened to.
got some absolute crackers on here but not my go to hendrix record
Smooth tunes and bass lines
Some nice late 90s rock with a great pop sheen across the top.
Pretty smooth and chilled. Not really sure about adding it into this list but whatever
Classic for me. Great riffs and Dave emerging from his Nirvana chrysalis
Hard riffs, stripped back blues. Simple drums that complement the brilliant songwriting. Another classic. Jack white is a legend
It’s super 80s and I’m not sure how I feel about it in this list?
Production is great, nice time capsule of party vibes from my 20s.Paper planes is a solid jam and quite the standout. Decent but I don’t know if it should be in the 1001 of all time
This has some mastery of production and filling of sound. I will only give it three stars though because it's so short, it's pretty much an EP. Careful, this is baby making music
Enjoyable album, great voice
Trippy psych rock electro, very chill. I liked it, reminds me of stuff I used to listen to at my sharehouses on a sunday after a big night
It's alright but it doesn't quite hold up compared to other 60's psych such as the 13th floor elevators. This is more of a basic rock feel.
I had this CD in my car for ages. The Chemical Brothers are GODS in their field.
Nice smooth 60's.
Yeah it was pretty good
This album is cool as shit. Have heard it before and still holds up nicely
I hadn't listened to this album since it first came out. It's well produced with some really great songs. Nice snapshot of that era
Straight FIYAHHH 4.5

What a cracker of a first album. Still lots of Kyuss vibes but completely Josh starting something fresh.
Frantic, melodic, heavy, political, fun, weird. I listen to this when I work out because it's got it all. I always liked the heavy factor when I was younger but I can appreciate the complexity these guys put in. Toxicity they really came into their own but this album is still great, therefore 4 stars
Classic. WMGGW is my fav.
