1001 Albums Summary

Some real bangers in the first half but peters out in the second half in my opinion. first half is crazy strong so probably still a 4. Iconic cover too.

repetitive across song and album but the beach boys sound is classic and this early unformed sound is still that. 2/5

only song i really liked is ghost town which sounds like its by a completely different band is only on the second disc of the deluxe edition.

Big discovery. Bangin jazz album with some afro beat mixed in. favorite songs: maseru / basically the whole second half of the album

Still not vibing with zeppelin at all. Of all the classic rock bands its maybe the biggest difference between popular opinion and my own i think.

Started out as some ambient forgettable but turned into an interesting funky soul sound with some of the same electronic influences on it

Female vocal sonic youth songs are much better and theres like none on this one. Overall im not crazy about their music. Its fun but its not blowing me up.
