Sort of washed over me

Pretty Erskine fare.

Surprised me in a really good way

Wasn't what I was expecting it was far more introverted than I expected talk talk to be

Had to give it a second go and enjoyed it but had to be in the right head space for it

So this is what Genesis sounded like pre Phil on vocals proggy MC prog prog

A much better kd lang and better on second listen

Forgotten how good this was, well crafted indie pop songs

I have no idea how jamiroquai even made it big, given the musical time period they were coming through. It's a great album

I got to see kraftwerk a couple of years ago and like this album they are great

One of the greatest pop albums of all time

They hooked me then they lost me then they hooked me then they lost me. The whole album is like that

I don't think of the pretenders as a post punk/new wave band but this album tells me otherwise.

I think it's all been said hasn't it? Great songs about longing and coming to terms with aging
