Moondance by Van Morrison
Oct 07 2021

Welcome familiarity with some hidden gems to be discovered. Great easy listening

Rattus Norvegicus by The Stranglers
Oct 07 2021

The Stranglers burst onto the scene - "Some day I'm gonna smack your face". These droogs bring some more elaborate musicality to punk, with liberal usage of the organ

At Budokan by Cheap Trick
Oct 11 2021

That song is alright. That song is alright. They just seem overplayed

Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens
Oct 13 2021

Chill album. Good background music but full of depth if you want to listen closely. The two big hits on the album bring some extra energy as well

Oct 14 2021

Enjoyed a few new songs, but overall not my style. Somewhat distracting. I would not put this on for a dinner party

Too Rye Ay by Dexys Midnight Runners
Oct 15 2021

Going to be worth revisiting

Oct 19 2021

Getting better with more listens but not exactly what I’m looking for

Forever Changes by Love
Oct 21 2021

Nice chill classic rock. Vibes of Zombies and Jefferson Airplane with a cleaner sound. Not totally struck by it after several listens, though.

No Other by Gene Clark
Oct 25 2021

Chill, nice to occasionally go back to listen to and pay a bit more attention to. Apparently this guy was the frontman of the Byrds.

Kid A by Radiohead
Oct 26 2021

I waffle back and forth, sometimes feeling like I 'get' it and other times just feeling like it is another jam band cacophony. Obviously this wasn't intended to be easy listening, but I feel like this album wants me to put in a fair amount of work before I get the payoff.

Truth by Jeff Beck
Nov 01 2021

Holding out for some better Blues.

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Nov 02 2021

A very short album at ~30 minutes. I listened on repeat for several hours but still feel like I didn't hear the songs. Very background-friendly.

The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett
Nov 03 2021

The vocals ruin this album for me. It sounds like a drunk at karaoke complete with the shitty echo of a school gym. This effect could be used pointedly in a single song, but instead it's throughout the whole album.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Nov 11 2021

Classic for a reason. I appreciate the varied musical styles

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Nov 16 2021

I liked it. I liked it. I liked it. I liked it.

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Nov 23 2021

Good coworking music. Quite classic

Rattlesnakes by Lloyd Cole And The Commotions
Dec 03 2021

Decent. Liked speedboat

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Dec 06 2021

This one is a real jam. And trailblazer
