Van Halen
Van HalenAmazing musicians but lacking in memorable lines and choruses. Great guitar playing but too many riffs are the same and at 100 mph and played for the sake of it

made my morning feel like a month
Decent album, has a good voice too much the same for too long, a lot of it feels like the same song again.

No sitting on the fence lyrically with purpose and reflection in them. A few stand out tracks, a bit long with a few tracks very similar.
some good melodic tunes, too long and too many songs sound the same.
Didn't dislike it but quite tedious and not for me
There is a reason, a very good reason, why most people only know one song on this album.
Starts and ends in amazing songs, the 7 songs in between are mostly filler in comparison. Given its reputation it's a bit disappointing. When The Rolling Stones try to be The Rolling Stones they're incredible, not so much when they try to be from 1940's Mississippi.
I did not enjoy this. One or 2 decent riffs to be fair but I can't go the lead singers voice.
Not a great singer, backing singers overused, just annoying after not too long. Enjoyed Let The Bells ring (no backing singers - thank fuck). It's ok, doubt I'd listen to it again. Oh and it's a long listen. Brevity Nick, brevity.
Planet telex, the bends, high and dry, fake plastic trees, just, my iron lung and street spirit all quality tunes, the rest better than mere filler. I only knew high and dry, my iron lung and street spirit before hand and I'm more into this than I expected to be for someone who more enjoys a few radiohead tunes rather than being a big fan of them.
Weird electro shit. I wasn't amused when I saw it opened with 4 songs over half an hour and I couldn't see how I'd make it through, but somehow I did. This gets 2 stars from me. Monotoned to say the least.
It starts off quite solid then fades away. Fades for a long time. 17 songs man, that turned into a slog.
Girl from Mars is great, the rest forgettable. If back ground music is your thing then dive on in. Not something I'd listen to again.
Loads of great songs but pretty long, I did go back and forth whether or not this should be 3 or 4 stars as it's not as good as as Siamese Dream which I'd give 4 stars to but in the end I decided it's better than a few of the albums I've rated 3 stars.
Pretty Dull
Too long and not really my thing
good rock n roll fun
honestly? I only made it to the opening of the second song
A few great tracks on this but a number of songs too slow and the same. Was still a fun listen, I had never head the full album before and glad I gave it a go
Sounds like a second rate REO Speedwagon tribute band trying to be the beach boys
It was ok but not particularly memorable
A nice easy listen, a few really cool tracks but a lot of it not something I'd listen to again
Some awesome riffs and great vocals. Was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I saw Iggy play at a festival in Spain in 2006 and I had partaken in a lively pint drinking atmosphere that day so sadly can't remember too much other than it was pretty cool so I'm not sure why I've taken so long to go and have a listen. Solid 4 stars.
Franco has a great voice but this is too slow and all too similar for my liking
made my morning feel like a month
I like a bit of sitar but to be honest i didn't make it to the end of the album
Loved this, top notch
Some awesome guitar riffery, walk this way the star of the show. No filler, was close to a 4 star.
Cool rock sounds to it although it does get a little all over the place at times and a bit incoherent. I'm not a fan of either vocalist tbh. T'was a decent listen but not sure about going back to the album soon. Cool art work on the cover.
This is utter rank, not sure what they were going for with this album. I'm actually quite relieved it's all over
George has a decent voice but the tone is too dismal for too long
I didn't last long before I had to skip this album.
Its actually not bad, first song is the best, the album is a little all over the place and my first impressions were that the vocals were going to annoy me. I mean they did, but not enough to stop me listening.
This wasn't as great as I remembered, it was much longer too. Poison and No Good are absolutely epic though.
My style of music
This is a good album, I only really knew there she goes before listening to it a few months back for the first time. Was happy to listen to the album again
