Like the beats and rhythm, some of the harmonies are great. Just don't connect to the lyrics.

Lot better than I expected. Classic late 60's English lyrical pop.

Majestic pop. One of the finest albums of all time. Great debut album from R.E.M with the main highlights being Peter Buck's guitar.

Really enjoyed her first 2 albums, and the reminded me why I stopped listening to her. Just a bit screechy vocals in too many of the songs. Gave up half way through.

Confirmed what I remember that there are several good songs but his high pitch vocals on this album leave me cold. However that new single 'Mustang' is a belter

If I ever have to hear this album again it will be too soon. Pomp musical rock drama is awful, pretentious nonsense.

Absolute Classic. One of the finest albums released in the last 50 years. This has everything. Supreme

Absolute stone cold classic album. They created their own distinctive sound with this album that so many artists tried to copy. Berth Gibbons vocals are sublime.

Cracking debut album from Suede which highlighted what a force they were going to be. They were the perfect sound for Britain at the time of release and completely hooked a generation with their pristine lyrics. This album has travelled well over the decades and still sounds as relevant today.

Great little debut album. Couple of classic tracks that totally sum up that moment in time.

A more mature sound for one of the most highly rated ABBA albums. Sounds like lyrically they were getting ready to write musicals. The Day Before We Came is the stand out song.

Surprisingly better than I anticipated. Lots more to Devo than the Whip It single. Will come back to this again soon.
