The Mantle by Agalloch

Easily my favourite album by Agalloch, opus magnum, top 10 albums on my shelf. I've heard Desolation Song live 15-ish years ago, amazing concert, great memories. Forever in my heart <3

Sing To God by Cardiacs

Wow, great album from a band that I have never heard of. Finally, once every 100 records I can find something fresh and exciting. On the downside - one of the worst album covers I have ever seen in my life.

Nightbirds by LaBelle

Cool album, some great songs and an absolute banger, pretty good!

Thunder And Consolation by New Model Army

Quite uncommon album on this list - good rock album from 80s. Not my favourite vocal, but the music stands out among the rezt of rock from the era. Very solid record.

Good start to a second part of this list! Never heard of Courtney before, but seems like she has a nice, goofy style of music and lyrics. Very exciting first few songs, but things became quite depressing soon after, as was the idea, I guess. Cool idea anyway, looking forward to hear more from her down under.

Join Us by They Might Be Giants
Sep 09 2025

That's definitely not a band I would listen to, unless already being waterboarded, for some additional mental suffering. Soft indie rock with nothing to hook on to.

Continuum by John Mayer
Sep 10 2025

Started very promising, ended as usual. John Mayer is a great songwriter when it comes to one, singular song. As soon as you listen to two or more, you're going down. Too sweet and a bit boring for me.

All Hail West Texas by The Mountain Goats
Sep 11 2025

Fun lyrics, but the music and vocal spoil the fun. Probably I'm not enough American or Texan to feel the melancholy in the songs. But lyrics save the day (slightly).

Sing To God by Cardiacs
Sep 12 2025

Wow, great album from a band that I have never heard of. Finally, once every 100 records I can find something fresh and exciting. On the downside - one of the worst album covers I have ever seen in my life.

Whipped Cream & Other Delights by Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass
Sep 13 2025

Nice soundtrack to a western taking place in 40s Mexico. I think I have even heard Clint Eastwood mumbling something through his poncho. Nice album cover, interesting music, but too quirky for me.

Contra by Vampire Weekend
Sep 14 2025

Cousins elevates this album to a strong 3, but the rest of the record is the weakest in VW discography, in my opinion of course. Simply enough I like the band, but not Contra.

Angel Dust by Faith No More
Sep 16 2025

Very easily one of my favourite albums of all time, LP is sitting proudly on the shelf. I love Mike Patton and everything that he is creatively attached to. Caffeine is the jam.

Sep 17 2025

I'm a fan of Low as every sane person that walks on Earth, but I just can't understand how are you able to listen to their whole album in one sitting if you're not fully depressed already. Great songs, great style, but one track at the time, couple days break, and then another one. In limited exposure - I love it.

Sep 18 2025

One the bright side - it's good to know that there are less known, underground bands around with a distinct sound and established fanbase. But unfortunately, why it has to be so boring? Every music video was at least 10x more interesting than the song itself. Cool idea, but just average at best.

Transatlanticism by Death Cab for Cutie
Sep 19 2025

Wow, that was a boring one. By the time I got to self titled song I was very close to surrender, and the only single I know didn't really help. I don't feel this band nor this album, just a boring slugfest to me.

Shack-man by Medeski, Martin & Wood
Sep 20 2025

Nice and ejoyable, but pretty forgettable album. Not my kind of jam.

Sep 22 2025

Great, punk rock, from early nineties, live album, in french. Interesting piece of musical trivia, absolutely terrible piece of music. I think if I would like to design my least liked album ever, Les Sheriff would be a great contender.

City Of Evil by Avenged Sevenfold
Sep 23 2025

Nice album, good opening song, and then repeat of it times 10. Classic 2000s metal album. If you were teenager at the time, this record will stay with you for a long time. In my case I liked different bands, but it still brings some melancholy. Cool stuff.

Sep 24 2025

Actually nice vocals on this album, everyone is definitely above average, but unfortunately the instrumental part is as average as it gets. Nice record to listen to in the background, but nothing more exciting than that.

Romance by Fontaines D.C.
Sep 25 2025

Cool album, interesting band, will look into them a bit more.

Brand New Eyes by Paramore
Sep 28 2025

Cool, teenage rock, that still sounds pretty good. Not my favourite band, but very relaxing music.

Tomb by Angelo De Augustine
Oct 01 2025

I'm definitely not a fan of this drawled out style of singing. It reminds me of Bon Iver, but without any interesting music and with a significantly worse voice. Few songs and I'm out, never to be seen again.

Live in San Francisco by Thee Oh Sees
Oct 02 2025

No more punk, please. We've been through enough already.

Nightbirds by LaBelle
Oct 03 2025

Cool album, some great songs and an absolute banger, pretty good!

Script Of The Bridge by The Chameleons
Oct 07 2025

Enjoyable 80s album, a bit of a rarity on this list. Good a side of the record and a full on snoozefest on the b side. I'll give it a four, because.. why not?

Fashion Nugget by CAKE
Oct 08 2025

Frustrating album. Quirky style, all over the place genre-wise, boring vocal, recipe for obscurity.

Rose Mountain by Screaming Females
Oct 09 2025

Unless it's black metal I'm not into screaming females. Boring and uninventive.

Wildflowers by Tom Petty
Oct 10 2025

Not a fan of Tom Petty or his style of music. I had a hard time getting through few of his songs, it's just too much work for me. Sorry, Tom.

HELLYEAH by HELLYEAH
Oct 21 2025

Hell yeah, what a band! Glory days of Pantera are long gone, and what's left? Boredom. It reminds me of Motorhead, when I wasn't able to differentiate between songs, they all sound exactly the same. The riffs are simple and unattractive, lyrics very Texan, feeling unobserved. Waste of time.

Phantom Power by The Tragically Hip
Oct 22 2025

I've heard about this band quite a lot, symbol of Canada, and so on. This was the forst time listening to their album and well, I'm straight up disappointed. Pretty boring, not my style, very uneventful record. Waste of time.

Dimanche à Bamako by Amadou & Mariam
Oct 23 2025

Okay album, not my style, but enjoyable.

Savage Sinusoid by Igorrr
Oct 24 2025

Great album, the only one not too weird, nicely balanced styles. Starts very edgy, but surprisingly it should be accessible for fans of many genres. Not a fan of the band outside of that album though. And I would never thought I would find this record on the list!

Thunder And Consolation by New Model Army
Oct 25 2025

Quite uncommon album on this list - good rock album from 80s. Not my favourite vocal, but the music stands out among the rezt of rock from the era. Very solid record.

Grand Prix by Teenage Fanclub
Oct 27 2025

Boring album, outdated style, bit of a waste of time.

Are You Shpongled? by Shpongle
Oct 28 2025

Super easy 5 stars for the album, so many good memories from a music festivals when I was a teenager, liatening to Divine Moments of Truth. Great song, good album, amazing memories.

Nov 01 2025

All vibes, ultimate form over essence. So if it's not your style (it isn't), then there's just nothing else on this record. Hotel lounge music in an exotic country.

The Mantle by Agalloch
Nov 20 2025

Easily my favourite album by Agalloch, opus magnum, top 10 albums on my shelf. I've heard Desolation Song live 15-ish years ago, amazing concert, great memories. Forever in my heart <3

Jane Doe by Converge
Aug 07 2026

Easily my favourite album back in high school. Now listening only for the sentiment value.
