Nightbirds
LaBelleCool album, some great songs and an absolute banger, pretty good!

Good start to a second part of this list! Never heard of Courtney before, but seems like she has a nice, goofy style of music and lyrics. Very exciting first few songs, but things became quite depressing soon after, as was the idea, I guess. Cool idea anyway, looking forward to hear more from her down under.
That's definitely not a band I would listen to, unless already being waterboarded, for some additional mental suffering. Soft indie rock with nothing to hook on to.
Started very promising, ended as usual. John Mayer is a great songwriter when it comes to one, singular song. As soon as you listen to two or more, you're going down. Too sweet and a bit boring for me.
Fun lyrics, but the music and vocal spoil the fun. Probably I'm not enough American or Texan to feel the melancholy in the songs. But lyrics save the day (slightly).
Wow, great album from a band that I have never heard of. Finally, once every 100 records I can find something fresh and exciting. On the downside - one of the worst album covers I have ever seen in my life.
Nice soundtrack to a western taking place in 40s Mexico. I think I have even heard Clint Eastwood mumbling something through his poncho. Nice album cover, interesting music, but too quirky for me.
Cousins elevates this album to a strong 3, but the rest of the record is the weakest in VW discography, in my opinion of course. Simply enough I like the band, but not Contra.
Not something I would listen to on my own volition. Somehow the combination of vocal and music is making me hate this album. No danish pastry for me today.
Very easily one of my favourite albums of all time, LP is sitting proudly on the shelf. I love Mike Patton and everything that he is creatively attached to. Caffeine is the jam.
I'm a fan of Low as every sane person that walks on Earth, but I just can't understand how are you able to listen to their whole album in one sitting if you're not fully depressed already. Great songs, great style, but one track at the time, couple days break, and then another one. In limited exposure - I love it.
One the bright side - it's good to know that there are less known, underground bands around with a distinct sound and established fanbase. But unfortunately, why it has to be so boring? Every music video was at least 10x more interesting than the song itself. Cool idea, but just average at best.
Wow, that was a boring one. By the time I got to self titled song I was very close to surrender, and the only single I know didn't really help. I don't feel this band nor this album, just a boring slugfest to me.
Nice and ejoyable, but pretty forgettable album. Not my kind of jam.
Great, punk rock, from early nineties, live album, in french. Interesting piece of musical trivia, absolutely terrible piece of music. I think if I would like to design my least liked album ever, Les Sheriff would be a great contender.
Nice album, good opening song, and then repeat of it times 10. Classic 2000s metal album. If you were teenager at the time, this record will stay with you for a long time. In my case I liked different bands, but it still brings some melancholy. Cool stuff.
Actually nice vocals on this album, everyone is definitely above average, but unfortunately the instrumental part is as average as it gets. Nice record to listen to in the background, but nothing more exciting than that.
Cool album, interesting band, will look into them a bit more.
I'm definitely not a fan of this drawled out style of singing. It reminds me of Bon Iver, but without any interesting music and with a significantly worse voice. Few songs and I'm out, never to be seen again.
No more punk, please. We've been through enough already.
Cool album, some great songs and an absolute banger, pretty good!
Enjoyable 80s album, a bit of a rarity on this list. Good a side of the record and a full on snoozefest on the b side. I'll give it a four, because.. why not?
Frustrating album. Quirky style, all over the place genre-wise, boring vocal, recipe for obscurity.
Unless it's black metal I'm not into screaming females. Boring and uninventive.
