Heavy Weather
Weather ReportJaco is so good. I had heard of him, and was familiar with his style, but didn't realize this was his band. I do love fusion jazz.

I love funk, and this is the quintessential group. There's a lot of samples from this in popular music.
It was alright, I've heard it before.
Loving the variety in the albums that are suggested.
So, I missed out on Kendrick Lamar when this was first out because of the age of my kids, but I've always been a big rap fan. He's an amazing lyricist and there's some great tracks on this album. Supposing you ignored the lyrics entirely, the music is also first class. I'd listen to an instrumental version of Mortal Man any day.
Took me back some. I hadn't listened to the entire album before, but solid throughout
Admittedly, I think I had only ever heard Fast Car, which is a good song, but doesn't show the range of her ability as a singer or songwriter.
I didn't understand most of the words, but the music was great.
Yet another album I had never listened all the way through. It was pretty good. I always thought Megadeth was harder than this, but I guess not.
I listened to this album a lot in college. This took me back and I enjoyed it.
I listened, but mostly just for continuity. It was pretty low key and chill, which was nice, but I probably wouldn't listen again.
It was okay, I had never heard of this guy.
It was okay. I hadn't heard anything on this album, and nothing was particularly memorable.
Did not enjoy. Stylistically, it was all over the place. I feel like this site is just messing with me now.
Not bad, pretty emo in most cases. A little Type O Negative flavor to it.
Well, that was quicker than I expected Group Sex to be. Hard to believe this doesn't carry some explicit warning, but it was a different time. I did enjoy it though.
Disappointed that there's only 5 of the 8 songs on Spotify available to play. I listened to it several times. I enjoyed this a lot.
Really enjoyed it.
Meh
I mean, it's John Lennon so I'm supposed to write a gushing review, right? He is a great lyricist, and Imagine is a great song.
karma karma karma karma karma chameleon.... I listened to that song for the first time in what seems like forever and realized there's a lot to that song I do not recall...and after listening again, I still don't remember it.
Janis has such a stylized voice that sometimes I just don't want to listen anymore. She was clearly different and powerful, but ultimately, I wonder what level of success she would have achieved has she not died so yound.
I just love this album. That is all.
I am now. First time listening all the way through. Absolute Unit.
So random, and equally good.
This felt like one long jam session that someone recorded.
It was like being back in high school...I had all the angst and energy all over again.
I don't know Portuguese, but this was still enjoyable.

Tre cool. I've not listened to a lot of French music (outside of rap and whatever they play on Lupin) but this was good.
It was novocaine for the soul.
Classic
It was okay. I could see how some bands have pulled from this sound
Trippy, and not a good one.
just sounds like a jam session that someone decided to record. I like it, but I'm not likely to remember anything I just heard.
I like punk, in general, and they're quintessential punk. Ergo, high marks
Not bad...
Didn't really enjoy it.
Def Leppard is just alright
Eddie Van Halen is an absolute unit. So good.
She sits in a weird spot of power and smooth. I dig it.
She really can sing.
There's a lot of this that sounds like Jack White.
So chill. I should listen to this more often.
Like the music at the end of an epic boss fight.
Finally one I have actually listened to before, it's been a while. I do enjoy this album though.
I like PJ Harvey, Bjork, and Portishead, and these felt adjacent. The lyrics are a little deeper though.
I probably sing "I'm only happy when it rains" once a week...
I didn't realize how sassy he was in these early albums.
The most popular album I've heard yet.
This is an old one my parents played often.
College me would have really loved this if I had known about it.
It was ok
I've heard some of these many many times, but it was nice to hear the album in full for the first time.
Classic.
I dunno. I wasn't crazy about this.
