Very fun and incredibly clever. Many reviews compare this record to Sgt. Pepper but for hip pop. The comparison is completely understandable. Very fun concept album with great lyricism and wonderful production. The album does not drag even with the track-listing being more than an hour long. The album just feels like a group of friends having fun on the mic and in the studio. Favorite Track: Magic Number Least Favorite Track: De La Orgee
Abbey Road is easily a top 5 record ever produced. Considered by many to be the quintessential Beatles record, and it is easy to see why. The final album recorded by the Beatles is a culmination of all the recording techniques they had learned in the 7 years prior. Seamless transitions, beautifully layered guitar work, and perfect double tracks. There simply is not enough to say about this record. Start to finish, one of the greatest experiences ever. I personally consider the B-side to be perfect with "The Long One" Medley. George Harrisons guitar work is incredible while also showing off his song writing with two of his best songs. Lennon and McCartney continue show off their song writing capabilities while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of what an album can be. I could go on and on about this record forever, its just that good. Favorite Track: Come Together, I Want You (She's So Heavy), "The Long One" Medley Least Favorite Track: None
Jeff Buckley has an incredible voice, good album but it was a little slow at places.
The album is not very good. Though I am not the biggest fan of hair metal and glam metal and could just be biased. However nothing other than Livin' On A Prayer and You Give Love A Bad Name, really stand out here. Jon Bon Jovi's voice just does not sound that great either Favorite Track: Livin' On A Prayer Least Favorite Track: Wild In The Streets
Really digging the nasal voice from Liam on this record. The record has a very heavy Beatlesesque sound which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Oasis adds their own sound to the music while still showing their influences from The Rolling Stones to The Beatles. Although their song writing is not nearly as polished or well crafted, it is still clever and fun. The band had a very clear vision as to what they wanted to sound like and they stuck closely to it. Favorite Track: Married With Children, Digsy's Dinner Least Favorite Track: Bring it On Down
Hauntingly beautiful. It's incredibly dark and gothic, it kind of made me really depressed but in a way that only music can. I completely understand why this record is considered one of the best of its era, it really does define a huge chunk of the post-punk era. The vocals are haunting and the lyrics are powerful. Simply put it was something else. The song writing is well crafted and very polished, it's sad to see Joy Division looked back upon as incel music. Favorite Track: Twenty Four Hours Least Favorite Track: The Eternal
Incredible guitar work and very layered in the musical sense. The album starts off incredibly strong but I felt it got very repetitive towards the end of the record. The last couple of songs were very hard to get through as they all sounded very identical to each other. Favorite Track: Bus Driver Least Favorite Track: Little Girl

The album just feels like a group of friends having fun on the mic and in the studio. Favorite Track: Magic Number Least Favorite Track: De La Orgee
Good Instrumental. Fun to listen to but gets repetitive and doesn’t have much replay value due to the lack of lyrics. However the guitar work and actual musical aspect of the songs were pretty good. Favorite Track: Green Onions Least Favorite Track: Lonely Avenue
Somewhat predictable, the album jumps back and forth from slow to fast back to slow and continues this pattern for almost every song. It definitely has some charm and a lot of nostalgia value for myself personally. Very melodic and Linkin Park finds a great mesh of rap and rock.
One of the best records from Zeppelin. The first side of the record is better than the second side. The climax of Kashmir really makes the end of that first side so special. Reminiscent of I Want You (She's So Heavy) ending the first side of Abbey Road. The second half still has really good songs and the band shows a massive improvement from their first records in terms of songwriting and simply their sound. This record has so many different sounds and styles but still feels very Zeppelin. Favorite Track: Kashmir Least Favorite Track: The Wanton Song
This album was all over the place. Only a couple of songs really stood out to me. Most of the songs felt very boring. The album doesn't seem to have a solid sound or idea its going towards and the song writing isn't anything to write home about. Some songs are pretty catchy and fun but overall the record feels bland. Favorite Track: Stork & Owl Least Favorite Track: Dancing Choose
The album feels very typical for 80's synth pop. It's still a fun listen. However, it does not feel very inspired. The synths are nice, the vocals are decent. There are some very good moments in this record but most of it feels very bland. The beginning of the record feels fun and fresh. The middle starts to drag very slowly. The last track on the record is easily the highest point. The most poppy, and most musically interesting track. Favorite Track: Don't You Want Me Least Favorite Track: I Am The Law
In Utero cements Nirvana as one of the most influential bands of the 90's. The sound of the record is much more raw and hectic than its predecessor. The guitars are rough, angry, and aggressive. The lyrics are dark and mesmerizing. The drums are heavy and scary. Cobain is easily the most famous grunge artist to have ever lived, and he shows just why on many of the songs on this record. Not only do his guitar riffs feel dirty and raw, he is also able to show a softer side when the lyrics call for it. Very inspired record and its always fun to imagine what would have been had Nirvana continued into the late 90's. Favorite Track: Heart Shaped Box Least Favorite Track: Radio Friendly Unit Shifter
Very interesting album. Most of the record is the first song. It kind of just becomes noise after a certain amount of time. Its very experimental and different but that doesn't necessarily make it any good. Sure its interesting at points and the production can be cool, but most of the record just feels uninspired. Favorite Track: Kometenmelodie 2 Least Favorite Track: Autobahn
Personally, this is one of my favorite records ever produced. I would put it in my own top 10 list of all time. The production is incredible, the song writing is top-notch, and the lyrics are beautiful and poetic at time. The guitar work is some of the best of its time and genre. The Smiths make a massive jump from Meat is Murder to The Queen is Dead. The highs from this record are some of the highest highs in musical history. Personally I believe there is only one low song on this record, everything else feels perfect. Full of angst, fear, love, and beauty, what else could one ask for from a Smiths record. Favorite Track: I Know It's Over, There Is a Light That Never Goes Out, Cemetry Gates Least Favorite Track: Vicar in a Tutu
I don't normally listen to country music, but this record actually wasn't too bad. I enjoyed the guitar work and some of the melodies in a couple of the songs. However for the most part, it felt a little flat. The vocals were nice and smooth and deserve a lot of praise, especially in the second half of the record. They lyrics were sweet and full of heartbreak which fits nicely with the Country genre. The drums were easily the lowest point of the record. Very flat and almost boring at points. However, overall it was very enjoyable and there is a lot of good things to praise about this record. Favorite Track: Still I Long For Your Kiss Least Favorite Track: 2 Kool 2 Be 4-Gotten
I had never heard of the artist or this record but I was pleasantly surprised. Although none of the songs are original, they still sound great and Willie Nelson brings so much style and flair to these classic songs. A very beautiful listen and I'm very impressed by what Willie Nelson was able to produce here. Favorite Track: All of Me, Georgia On My Mind Least Favorite Track: Don't Get Around Much Anymore
Cool and enjoyable. Not The Pixies best work in my opinion, but still fun to listen to. At points it can feel groundbreaking, while at others it feels like it almost drags. The vocals are cool and the guitar work is so active and fun to listen to. This record is great and shows that the Pixies were definitely pushing their genre at points. Favorite Track: Velouria Least Favorite Track: Hang Wire
This record was ok. Nothing really stood out to me. I'm not sure if I'm biased against it because it feels so old, or because it just reminds me of dad music, since this is my dads music. I wasn't really digging most of it, it felt very commercial and uninspired, which I did not expect from a band so highly praised and followed. However that could just be the result of bands following what they did and making it more commercial. Overall the album seemed to mush together. Favorite Track: Fooling Least Favorite Track: Most of the songs tbh.
Incredibly weird at points but I think it makes the record a fun experience. The lyrics are fine, the vocals are cool, the guitars are great and the drums are so active. The production was incredible and the album was comprehensive which is a great thing for any album. No song sticks out in a bad way, they're all interesting and fun to listen to. Favorite Track: This Apparatus Must Be Unearthed, Inertiatic Esp Least Favorite Track: Tira Me a Las Aranas

I really enjoyed this record. I had never heard of them prior to this, and I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The vocals and guitars were phenomenal and the who record really flows so well. I was really pleased with almost all the songs and I can see why many praise it as a staple of punk music. Favorite Track: Halloween, Spellbound Least Favorite Track: Voodoo Dolly
Not my style I guess. The record feels like a very cheap version of Daft Punk but without any of the experimentation or funkiness that made Daft Punk so infectious and excellent. Most songs feel bland and overall the production sounds boring. The album is almost an hour long but somehow it feels so much longer and just really seems to drag on. It reminds me of elevator music at points. Favorite Track: Sunworshiper Least Favorite Track: Drop the Pressure, Musclecars
I am not a fan of this one. His voice reminds me of Morrissey but worse. I could not stand the yodel-esque vocal vibrato that was used on this record. The production is boring and very few parts actually stick out. The whole record really blends together in a way that makes it hard to remember if it's the same song or a new song. The whole record comes off as pretentious due to his voice in my opinion. Favorite Track: None Least Favorite Track: Bird Guhl
Good album, the production and the title perfectly match. The whole thing has a very dirty feeling to it. The band seems to really understand their own sound and what they want to be. Stray guitar sounds, feedback, and peaking of the microphones all happen many times within the record. Very cool overall and very cathartic. Although in my own opinion the record did seem to drag a bit and I felt it could do without a couple of songs. Favorite Track: Chapel Hill Least Favorite Track: Orange Rolls, Angel's Spit
Not great but also not terrible. Very mediocre in my opinion. The vocals are my least favorite part. The lead singer sings most songs with a very low growl. Sure it can add to the whole Murder aspect, but it does get very stale, pretty quickly. Guitars, piano, drums, and overall production all work very well on the record and help make the record much more pleasant. Favorite Track: Henry Lee Least Favorite Track: Crow Jane
Great record overall. The vocals are beautiful, the guitars are great, and the lyrics are so poetic. I really enjoyed this record from start to finish, its very comprehensive and a very easy listen. However the lyrics can be more than just an easy listen, they're fairly dark and profound at points. Favorite Track: All And Everyone Least Favorite Track: The Colour of the Earth
So cool. Very funky and experimental. I really enjoyed all of this record. From start to finish the guitar work, the keys, and the overall experimentation was so fun. The lyrics were nothing groundbreaking but the musical aspect of the record definitely were. Some incredible production on this record. The whole album felt very comprehensive and connected. Favorite Track: Heart of the Sunrise, Roundabout Least Favorite Track: The Fish
Throughly enjoyed this record, even with all the hate I've heard for shoegaze. The record has a constant feeling of noise, almost makes the whole thing feel very blurry but the record still has its own distinct noise and sound. Very cool guitarwork and the vocals are just so fun. Although at points the blurry feeling does make it feel as if I'm just dissociating. Overall very cool sound and feeling. Favorite Track: Lose My Breath Least Favorite: Sueisfine
Summertime Blues is the best song on this record but that isn't saying much. Overall very messy production. The guitar work is fine and at points is very ahead of its time, however everything else falls kind of flat. The lyrics and vocals are hard to make out for most of the record. Favorite Track: Summertime Blues Least Favorite Track: Second Time Around
Very complete album. Start to finish the whole thing felt very concise. The album did not drag even with lyrics that aren't entirely upbeat. The album has a slow pace but it works well with the composition. The lyrics are very good, the vocals are good but sound very similar track to track. The guitar work is very good, the drums are well done as well. There are some very incredible compositions on this record that made me genuinely read the lyrics and a couple songs I had to listen to multiple times. Favorite Track: Man on the Moon, Find the River Least Favorite Track: New Orleans Instrumental No.1
Pretty good. Morrissey shows that he is a great songwriter lyrically. Overall its not nearly as fun or genre-pushing as anything he did with the Smiths but on his own its still good. Lyrics are poetic, the guitars are fine, and overall it is enjoyable. Favorite Track: The Lazy Sunbathers Least Favorite Track: Speedway
I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I've never heard of this artist prior to this but I am glad this record was so fun. The lyrics are fun though at points they can be corny. I really enjoyed just how different the record was. I expected a very safe pop record but instead it was so much more. There is a fair bit of experimentation going on and it feels like something that might have inspired newer pop sensations such as Harry Styles. The instrumentals are beautiful and as said prior the lyrics were fun, a lot of lyrics made me go back to read them again. It does feel like the record has two halves with the second half being a lot more melancholy. Favorite Track: Queen of Denmark; Sigourney Weaver Least Favorite Track: Silver Platter Club
So damn good. I loved this record, it is such a nice record to put on and just sit and relax. It's so soothing and so calming. Every track felt so beautifully crafted and so inspired. Zebra stands out as one of the best songs I've heard on this journey so far. The vocals are just so pretty and the entire record is just so dreamy, absolutely loved this record. Favorite Track: Zebra; Take Care; Silver Soul Least Favorite Track: None
Chic struck gold with their 2nd record. So groovy and funky and a great representation of the way music was moving at the time. Right at the peak of Disco but the record still has a lot of R&B and Funk, so much so that the genre title of disco seems to be a product of the year it was released. The whole record really makes you want to get up and dance along and at no point does it ever drag. Such a fun record. Favorite Track: Le Freak, I Want Your Love Least Favorite Track: Savoir Faire
Weird but in the best way possible. The whole record screams Americana and Bowie completely nails it. Experimental and funky and just completely out there at points. Masterful guitars, drums, melodies, and Bowies vocal work is great. Really enjoyed the bulk of the record and I loved how experimental the music and the lyrics could, but I can understand why this record is not as highly regarded as its predecessor in Ziggy Stardust. The lyrics at points were profound and at others were insanely clever and witty, Bowie does not hold back and isn't afraid to not be subtle at all. Great record from start to finish. Favorite Track: Lady Grinning Soul Least Favorite Track: Let's Spend the Night Together
