Hadn't really listened to the album but had heard Come Out and Play / Self Esteem (the two big singles off the album) a fair few times over the years. It's very much the 90s skate-punk style, imo. Was expecting All I Want to be on there before checking the tracklist, since it's the track I associate most with 90s-era Offspring.
Heard Fake Tales of San Francisco and When the Sun Goes Down ages ago not really feeling the rest of the album, the two aforementioned at least have some hint of nostalgia
Pretty sure I've heard some of the tracks in stores, maybe they used the album as a benchmark? Exceedingly clear sound. Solid album, liked it.
h
solid early Sabbath, liked it
Damn solid, will probably give it another listen or three.
it's an early concept album i liked it
has No Sleep till Brooklyn and Brass Monkey i knew what to expect and that's what it was
h
bit too spoken word-y for my taste
hell yes
didn't click
didn't vibe with how loop-focused it was
feels like art-punk, eh
boy don't you just love all this influential pre-punk
Has some absolute bangers and then some hella filler.
also has a bit of filler
easy listening jazz
fucking love it
felt really mid
didn't hate it
yup, it's shock-punk!
rock that didn't really vibe for me
actually liked it
Man, what a fucking dropoff from The Queen is Dead.
For the entirety of the first track I wondered why something felt off. Took a break, realized it was the english version, changed to german and immediately felt at home.
only really knew Faith from this he do be sniffing tho
Opening track started off pretty promising Latter half wasn't what I expected at all until the final track.
thought i'd vibe with this more than i ended up doing
liked it, reminded me of my trip to ireland
boy don't you just love the old stereo split the album being split into 4 does mean there's space for quite a few classics in there
had a good time
yup that's a 4
