No, thank you.
Sound a lot like the Pet Shop Boys. Good - not great. Best song is Go West. 3/5
Trailblazers. I can hear so much of groups to come on this album - Yaz, Dépêche Mode, Erasure…….so many. I really enjoyed this album and have recommended it to others.
Classic album. I’ve already listened to this hundreds of times. Saw them on the tour supporting this album back in the late 1980s. My favorite song is Hysteria my least listened to song would be excitable or run riot. While all songs “fit” this album, those two are my least favorite. Great album that is a super quick listen because it is easy on the ears.
I do not recall hearing this band before. Despite that - they sound familiar. They sound very British and some of the songs remind me of The Beatles or Oasis. It is an entertaining album.
Lauryn Hill is what I like most about this album. Such a clear, strong and beautiful voice. I will listen to her songs again - not the whole album.
One of the funkiest and smoothest bands on earth.
I do lot recall the last time I listened to this album. What a swan song (album) for such a great and influential band. It is a great listen and every song gets your attention. Also takes me back!
Good album containing some all time classics. More background music for me.
Only heard singles from this group before. Wish I would have listened to the album sooner! Great tracks that keep you interested and nice beats. Solid album.
Interesting album. Not my bag.
Never listened to this album before. While there are definitely some Dylan songs I really like, I did not like all on here.
I tried - I really did - just not my thing. While it has a rhythm and beat to it, I don’t totally understand this music.
I have never heard of this band. With pretty much every track I feel as if I am waiting for the song to begin - as if it is unfinished. Good background music……I guess.
No, thank you.
I loved this album when it came out and I still love it. It was the next chapter for U2 after The Joshua Tree. Great songs.
LOVED this album. Kid rock owes them a big thank you card for his career. This album seemed so groundbreaking and different to me. Is it rap? Is it metal? It was just good. It was also a bit cheeky - which I liked.
The soundtrack of my teen years. Not a bad song on this album. From the cheeky You can call me Al to the harmonies of Under African skies - such deep and rich music. Although, I never understood why an album with such African music influence was named after, and a song about, Elvis’ home.
Bought this album after hearing the song Fast Car. She has such an emotive voice. Honest, raw storytelling.
What a fantastic album. Spector’s wall of sound pairs perfectly with Christmas music. Great album from beginning to end!
I had only heard the song Sultans of Swing from this album. I like that song and liked the others on the album. Bluesy with a bit of country/western mixed in. This album is different from the more mainstream and pop-ish album that I remember well, Brothers in Arms, in the early 1980s. . Would I listen to this album again? Probably not, but I did not mind listening to it today.
Never heard of the Monks. I was ok with that.
It’s the kind of music you put on at a party when you want your guests to say “What the f$&k is this?”
Considering this was the album before the behemoth, Born in the USA, it’s a bit surprising how mellow it is. I did enjoy it - good background music.
First time I have listened to Aphex Twin - I really enjoyed this album.
Great album. When I come around is one of those that has always drawn my attention. It’s a “feel good” song for me.
Buffalo stance is one of my all time jams. You can’t help but move when that song comes on!!
