Too repetitive, and the instrumental parts did not evolve in a meaningful way. I would be slightly intrigued by what they were introducing, but I didn’t feel like it developed, so I lost interest

The guitars left me moist

I can easily see how Petty’s voice isn’t for everyone, but I personally love his simple, catchy music paired with his difficulty with pronouncing words

After listening to Led Zeppelin, this was a let down, but not garbage

I thought this was just ok. Not horrible by any means, but if felt like a lot of the songs were similar enough to play all at one almost in perfect harmony. I think this would be a solid album if I were into this type of music

This album wasn’t super strong for me. There was a couple songs I really liked, but the audio quality wasn’t great. There were also times where their voices just sounded flat out annoying. Looking forward to hearing more of their later albums though.
