1001 Albums Summary

The album takes a bit of time to get going, but the mixing is really excellent. I'm not sure if it's because I'm listening to a remaster. Some of the songs drag, but there's also so many jams! I can see why it's a classic.

He's not a very good singer is he

I know it's a cliche that "I'll be watching you" is creepy, but listening now, it is pretty creepy. Loved loved Synchronicity II, and could definitely see myself playing this again, albeit in a background situation.

Oh shit do I love Neil Young? That was amazing.

Thought I'd like it better. The hits are fine, and I liked Communication Breakdown

It sounded influential, but a little too much babadeeboo for me.

Frick I thought I wasn't going to like this, but this first song is a jam Yeah this was fun. Probably wouldn't play it for active listening, but I bet these would be fun songs to sample.

What a strange mix of like Foo Fighters, Sex Pistols, MCR, Rage against the Machine, very weird. And before a lot of those bands did their thing. I liked it
