Exodus
Bob Marley & The WailersThis is possibly the greatest reggae album of all time. Natural Mystic’s opening bars transport you away and the rest is just magical from then on.

I don’t like Cream and even though this is a classic making bluesy riffs wind into catchy choruses, it has a frosty coldness to it. That 60s fuzz on here, so often imitated afterwards, is quite draining after a while. Finally given this record is by that arch racist Clapton it’s sometimes hard to get out of my head his clear skill from his vile views.
A masterful psychedelic classic linking in elements of folk and jazz into some truly epic songs.
A work of art.
It is a masterpiece of a particular era; g-funk with a distinct deep funk bass line and tinny guitar/70s soul sample. Biggie smalls is a lyrical master even if some of his portraits touch on the lowest of misogynistic tropes. It is still worth listening to even now as pure artefact of an era.
Awesome the face of perfect Metal
This is one of the greatest jazz albums of all time. The elegance and streamlined nature of the tracks, the modernism of Take Five it is just fantastic.
This is a bath of beautiful melodic, unrestrained punk. It is rightfully considered one of the greatest albums in the genre.
The original metal album and certainly the one you would give to a new listener to genre.
