Ramones
RamonesNot an album I want to listen to all the time, but can't deny the influence it's had. Some of the songs are very much classic though (Blitzkrieg Bop)

Enjoyable album. Good compositions/musicality, and ample re-listenability
Timeless classic, no bad songs. Incredible
I think the impact of the experimental nature of many of the songs is lost to the years. Album is a bit disjointed, and not as good a Rumours from this band
Good sound, but most of the songs sound the same. Not many memorable standouts.
A perfect spooky album to get in Spooktober. Interesting sound, good concept, some memorable songs to keep you coming back (especially with substances in hand)
Enjoyable album, and great message. Sad that the message still rings so true 30 years later. Consistent theme, great lyricism, and infectious musicality
Might have had significant impact on the genre, but most of the songs fall flat when listening decades later
Great vibes and quiet catchy, but no idea what the lyrics are
I always love listening to this album. The songs all flow together in a way that it might as well be trackless. Imbued with deep melancholy, sometimes I find that it can be distracting in the best way; almost like a form of meditation. Not something to throw on during a party, but when you are feeling down and out this album is always there for you.
Great album overall and the songs feel timeless. Psycho Killer is of course one of the greatest
Solid album with many classics. Not sure if it's the best Sabbath album, but the songs hold up all these years later
It's not as striking as some of the other entries on the list, but this album grows on you after a few listens
Not the most deep-cutting lyrics, but the 'beats' are fun and the album hits are absolutely iconic. Consistent theming means this is a reliable entry for light hearted pop fun
I've Seen All Good People like this album
Absolutely love this album. Radiohead was a bit before my time, but I'm glad they have enough long time fans and critical recognition to keep them on my radar
Incredible. Everyone from Chicagoland, Illinois should listen to this album. Beautiful, moving, excellent lyricism and inspiring melodies
Of course it has probably the most popular ABBA song of all time, but it's certainly not as strong of an album overall as some of their other works released both before and after Arrival. Of course, that isn't to say the album is bad in any way. Enjoyable listen. When I Kissed the Teacher is still a great deep cut.
Fits right into the sound of the 90s without seeming dated 30 years later. The lyrics are way more intelligent than some of their contemporaries. Supervixen is a great opening track
Very musically reminiscent of Oasis (who they opened for) and Janes Addiction. The organ work is definitely a stand out on this album, but I can't say that any tracks stood out to me in particular.
When taken at face value, it doesn't have the best songs Nirvana has ever written, but the rawness of this album succeeds in bringing to life what made Kurt Cobain (and by extension Nirvana) so incredible.
Growing up in a time where Bruce Springsteen had already achieved icon status, it's hard to avoid having a feeling that he is overrated. However listening to this album instantly paints a vivid picture of life in a small town during the 80s. Truly a staple of "heartland rock", and definitely an album that deserves to be revisited time and time again.
Absolute ripper of a debut album. The energy is top notch and the lyrics paint a vivid picture of life as an angsty British 20 something. So many good songs, that it's hard not to just listen to the whole album straight through
Of course icons of the late 60s/early 70s The Doors have had a lot of influence on California rock and the rock culture in general. Not every song on the album is a hit, but the themes are consistent throughout.
The Eagles have achieved rock super stardom for good reason. Hotel California is an album could very well be mistaken for a greatest hits compilation. The album contains beautiful compositions and excellent lyricism from front to back, with stellar guitar solos sprinkled throughout. Amazing record.
Absolutely amazing album. Love coming back to this one again and again
Jimi Hendrix is an absolute rock legend in this debut album. Although not every song has stood the test of time, the album is consistent and has enough hits to keep one coming back
Babe I'm Gonna Listen to you again and again
The influence of this album (and group at large) on subsequent rappers is undeniable, however, besides the big hits there isn't much to discern most of the songs from each other
Has obviously been influential, but not something to revisit in the 21st century
Doesn't have the carefree summer- time vibe of Good Kid, Maad City, but the more introspective turn doesn't disappoint. This album takes the listener on a rollercoaster through temptation and addiction with the light of salvation at the end. Still upset this album lost Album of the Year to Taylor Swift's '1989'
This album is simultaneously a staple of the 90s and a timeless album. Great songwriting, great musicality, and the edge that will keep you coming back after a heartbreak. Not every song is as equally strong as the standouts.
The last album before she started pumping out endless over-manufactured pop drivel. Still upset this album won AOTY over Kendrick Lamar's second album To Pimp a Butterfly
Not my favorite release in Jack White's discography, or something that I always find myself coming back to, but there are certainly rewards on this album whenever I happen to come across it
LA Woman is an all time listen, and Love Her Madly and Riders on the Storm are classic Doors, but aside from these high points, the rest of album is quite dull and samey
The high points are truly high, and are certainly a mainstay in the cultural zeitgeist, but the rest of the album drags and is forgettable.
An all time debut album that totally helped evolve the rap game for ever
Take Your Mama will never not be a banger, but the rest of the songs aren't anything to come back to. And the cover of Comfortably Numb is painful
Some of the most iconic songs in the Beatles catalogue. For many people, this is their favorite Beatles album, but for me this one has some songs that don't stand up to the test of time for any but the most diehard Beatles fan (Maxwell's) One of the prime examples of Beatles albums where the songs flow together more seamlessly than the discrete songs which propelled them to radio stardom
The first album by the Beatles with front to back cohesion and no misses. Used to be my favorite Beatles album, but still holds up after all these years
Amazing album, I dare anyone listening to this to try keeping for foot from tappin or your hips from groovin. Add me to the chain
