Girls Just Want to Have Fun and Time After Time are the only two songs I had heard from this album. The opening song Money Chnages Eveyrbting was interesting, I also really liked He’s so Unusual.
Her voice and style is unique. Glad to listen to this album.
Obviously several well known singles on this album. I was struck by the cultural references, but in a very different form, of both A Simple Desultory Philippic (what a Dylan imitation) and 7oclock News. A very good folk album, showing the diversity of folk rock.
Favorite song: Grounds for divorce - great opening line, hard hitting guitar. Loved it from first time I heard it.
The rest of the album surprised me. The Fix almost sounds like a Bond song. An Audience with the Pope was very memorable.
The White Stripes go acoustic!
Favorite songs: as ugly as it seems; Blue Orchid and Little Ghost.
The marimba, acoustic guitar are markers. The style is very Jack White, but the acoustic vibe is good Anna welcome change. The range as a musician is insane. Meg is always underrated and her voice on Passive Manipulation was enjoyable.

I like the genre, this just seems a little too disorienting.

Big band and strings. The album is a tale of two sides. I prefer the crooning Ray of the second side. His voice shines, the strings complement. First ever listen and a true show of Rays genius.

The album was pretty standard metal. It was good to listen the whole album.

Some really great CCR tracks, defining them as a top notch rock band.

Candidly this is the first time I listened to this album, and it was good Queen. I feel like I know their more well known songs better.

For an album that largely was the space for a one hit wonder, I did find a few of the other songs worth a listen. As a whole I think the album underwhelms.

To be honest the two singles stand out. But listening to The Needle and the Damage Done was new to me. Words was a good fitting end to the album.

Slash riffs so hard in this song. I don't really think other songs on the album come close. Paradise City maybe. Overall the album is pretty ok.

Not my favorite Green Day album but two of my favorite songs. Boulevard is one of my favorite running songs. Perfect tempo.

REgrettably I had never heard of this band, what what a solid album. Will definitely give them another look.

This is an all time album. A true blues experiment. The guitars by Clapton and Allman are next to none. Truly special.

This album is everything. It includes great originals, great covers. MJ is smooth and the Quncy's producing is next level.

A great first album.
This album had some early stones vibes, but also a new shift. Definitely a late 60s album. Highlights: sympathy for the devil, no expectations.
Pump it up and (I don't want to go to) Chelsea are the top songs.
I love the new wave feel of this album. Groovy.
Daydreamin is top notch. Great sample. Jill Scott crushes. Lyrically sound. Great hip hop album.
