Can a concept album be too concepty?? The only way to truly tell is to lock yourself in a pitch black room listen to Tommy in its entirety, then see if you have the strength to do it again.

Mitchell deserves props for her penmanship alone however there still needs to be a balance between lyrics and sound with music.

This is where I draw the line between lyricism and something that actually sounds nice to my ears. Cohen needs a pedal board or something.

I dont understand why people bitch and moan when they get a weird album from a website that is meant to give you weird albums, like holy shit stop crying about it and go listen to Creed or some shit. anyway 2/5 this kinda sucks.

Thank Christ I listened to this album before I died. I truly dont know what my life would be like if i was never blessed with this groundbreaking album.
