I guess I'm not a big fan of punk. I can see the influence of this album back in the 70s but listening to it today doesn't appeal to me. I was surprised to see that the band only had a single album. Apparently, they made something so influential for their time that they reached this much popularity with only a single album. I get the energy of the songs but I feel too old listening to this album. The songs are repetitive and the vocals are ear-scratching for me.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Oct 24 2023

At first I didn't really vibe with it, I though that it wasn't bad but not particularly good. With my second listen I started to like some songs. The beginning of the album still sounds boring though

Kid A by Radiohead
Oct 25 2023

Too experimental, too boring. There are some weirdly interesting tracks but that's it. Not something I would listen to

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Oct 26 2023

It's Jimi Hendrix of course five stars. Exceptional guitar player and a great psychedelic experience

Didn't think I would like it at first but I really dig the minimalist sound in this album. I would give it a 3,5 not sure whether I should round to 3 or 4

Tonight's The Night by Neil Young
Oct 31 2023

I generally like Neil Young but this album was different. I got boring fast. Second half of the album was relatively more listenable

Vento De Maio by Elis Regina

I liked it a lot. Especially connected with O Medo De Amar E O Medo De Ser Livre which is quite a title for a song. No idea what it means

Deserter's Songs by Mercury Rev
Nov 09 2023

The album overall not bad with a few good songs but holy shit The Happy Ending is the worst song I have ever heard. A kid playing random notes would be more tolerable
