holy shit.i don’t think i’ve ever heard an album feel like a place quite like illmatic feels like new york.

fun and incredibly relevant when it was released in 2004 AND today in 2024. probably an extra star from me for the nostalgia

I want to give this a 3 so bad but it’s not fully there. I appreciate this as a fantastic jazz album it’s just not for me
