English spacey rock vibes, some cool moments reminding me of the Beatles experimental soundscape. The end of “No Sympathy” was lit. Very creative album

Not for me…

Cool moments, you can tell why there were influential to so many bands like MGMT

Difficult to listen to at times. The best moments were fantastic, clearly bands like Vampire Weekend were inspired by this.

Unreal this was their debut. Can’t imagine listening to this for the first time in the early 90s

How have I not listened to Carole more? She’s an American treasure

Loved the whole thing. Listening to the drum solo in “Skin Deep” I thought I was going crazy hearing a double bass drum which I didn’t think had been popularized yet. Turns out this drummer, Louie Bellson, is one of the double bass pioneers from the late 50s. He was metal before metal was a thing.
