Eh. It sounds a lot like the Smiths. Some songs are better than others.

Solid, in a very Clash-y way

Annoying that Spotify would not let me listen to half the tracks but this is a classic

Seems like it should be a 5-star because there are so many bangers, but there are actually several tracks I don't like on here. Still a great album by a great band

Interesting. Was not expecting this.

There is definitely a payoff for repeated listenings, though I can't help but sympathize with those who have called it "pretentious" and "deliberately obscure" and "more fun to think and write about than it is to actually listen to" and "look-ma-I-can-suck-my-own-cock whiny rubbish" (from a British critic, no less). 3/5.
