Pearl
by Janis Joplin
Mostly incoherent wailing. Music was fun at times though.

Mostly incoherent wailing. Music was fun at times though.
Nostalgic sound and pretty good overall.
Timeless album, spoiled only slightly by how commercialized some of the tracks have become.
Not exactly my cup of tea, but it is clear to see how much the sound of this album influenced the decade to follow.
Fantastic soul/blues sound, and amazing guitar work.
The most forgettable album in the entire Beatles catalog.
interesting and charming at times, but no real connection to it.
eh
I can appreciate a fair bit of weird, so I should like this more, but maybe I'm getting too old?
This is probably Coldplay at their best, but it's still just Coldplay.
